It would be v.dangerous to let minority parties like Corbyn, and Sturgeon, and whoever is the Lib Dem bro get involved and disrupt her Coronation.

Let’s not harp on tokyos. Let’s not be bitter. It is bit weird that sorting out council election on frm of 30 voters is take more long than to sort out general election of like 60 million, but on other hand, if somehow we won the general election too, I dare say there would be a certain period of panic, head-scratching + recounting from the Powers That Be.

I am starting to think the Phils aren’t taking this seriously. Tax dodgers always get touchy around election time as no tax = no vote or all tax dodgers would obs vote torries and just move back to the UK to dodge tax.

And anyway, we have taxes by the bucket load down here, 30% on Booze 5% on Rent 40% on airplane tickets as examples - even getting VAT in January.

Yesterday came as something of a shock, especially with the announcement that May would be swerving the TV debates. I was pleased to see her decision continually brought up today, especially as ITV has decided to run a debate anyway. Eric Pickles was at least partially honest, that they’re not worth the risk and that they always damage the incumbent PM. With ITV doing a debate, other major channels are going to want their own.
It’s actually lose lose for May. If she goes through with the chicken plan she’s hatched, she’s letting her opponents speak to the interested nation unopposed, allowing them to grab the headlines on the news. If she changes her mind and actually turns up, more than possible given the media clamour, then she’ll lose.
I think cowardice is just the path that draws the least potential disgrace.
