That is what I think too! May is come to think of the Election as just a kind of quaint, old-world tradition, you know. A nod to the past. She is just lay back, eating the flesh of malnourished children, looking forward to just rolling up on the day and collecting her winnings. It would be v.dangerous to let minority parties like Corbyn, and Sturgeon, and whoever is the Lib Dem bro get involved and disrupt her Coronation.
Hmm
NHS Employee survey shows things are improving
OOops
Yeah I know it’s only 420,000 responses and only workplace stuff…
We will be stealing this as soon as we are announced king and queen of the forum (with 2 people to help). Stage 1 - get elected by any means necessary. Stage 2 - Interview with Pap and Bletch. Stage 3 - Wait 6 months. Stage 4 - Take control and become a dictatorship. Stage 5 - Sell to mum’s net and move to tax haven like golfing Phil did.
Shit! that was meant to be a PM.
Let’s not harp on tokyos. Let’s not be bitter. It is bit weird that sorting out council election on frm of 30 voters is take more long than to sort out general election of like 60 million, but on other hand, if somehow we won the general election too, I dare say there would be a certain period of panic, head-scratching + recounting from the Powers That Be.
I am considering running bear. Maybe we should have a thread and decide on some policies.
Can the. SNP endorse candidates in England?
Check out the double Phil hate. You can both Phil off. When I am king being called Phil will be illegal.
We can do whatever we like - we declared our freeeeeeedom and have enough Buckfast to last us to 2022. We are untouchable.
I am starting to think the Phils aren’t taking this seriously. Tax dodgers always get touchy around election time as no tax = no vote or all tax dodgers would obs vote torries and just move back to the UK to dodge tax.
To dodge tax you need to have income…
And anyway, we have taxes by the bucket load down here, 30% on Booze 5% on Rent 40% on airplane tickets as examples - even getting VAT in January.
Meanwhile some very GOOD news
Good - solves the conflict of interest issue with this editorial role that he had.
I get the feeling that our George is going to hand Blair a lesson in maximising your post political earnings
I thought leave won the referendum
Labour must agree with her, she needs them to agree to an election
That wasn’t UKIP though, was it? That was a coalition of tossers from across Labour and the Conservatives.
Yesterday came as something of a shock, especially with the announcement that May would be swerving the TV debates. I was pleased to see her decision continually brought up today, especially as ITV has decided to run a debate anyway. Eric Pickles was at least partially honest, that they’re not worth the risk and that they always damage the incumbent PM. With ITV doing a debate, other major channels are going to want their own.
It’s actually lose lose for May. If she goes through with the chicken plan she’s hatched, she’s letting her opponents speak to the interested nation unopposed, allowing them to grab the headlines on the news. If she changes her mind and actually turns up, more than possible given the media clamour, then she’ll lose.
I think cowardice is just the path that draws the least potential disgrace.
Was this reply meant for me? It doesn’t appear so.
