The fact that lifeintheslowlane was wrong over there, doesn’t make you any righter over here.

Bonus downvote.

he does have a point Bob. They wouldn’t be originals if they were different from the original receipt and started to i.e. add salt etc et al.

Never said Original Salted Caramel

You’ll just get downvoted again Bob. No salt in Wethers, not even in America(and they’ve added a few flavours).

46th highest suicide rate in the world (we’re 123rd even with our appalling mental health record).

Look Bob, Labour has made a clear pledge that Werther’s originals will be free for over 65’s. No one has mentioned salt ones in their manifesto so it is safe to assume they will not be free. Diane Abbot is finding it tough enough to explain how they will be distributed and paid for without you throwing salt onto the problem.

I don’t think that anyone would query the fact that the Blairitez are anti Corbyn. But Corbyn was elected as leader of the Labour Party. If they don’t like it and don’t feel they can support the elected leader of their party, perhaps they should go off and form their own party, join the LDs or even the Tories? And are we supposed to believe that they will all support Corbyn even if he beats May? It says everything about these people that they seem more worried about fighting amongst themselves rather than getting the Tories out. So much for their Socialist principles!

The IFS says Labour’s numbers add up.

They’re only talking about taking it back to 26%, what it was in 2010.

Try running a business without infrastructure, skills or security. You’ll think 26% a very fair number then.

I prefer that to Tory policy. Tens of billions handed to the rich, paid for by the rest of us.

With the greatest respect, you only found out about salted caramel recently, @dubai_phil

Labour are cutting into that lead. Means people are listening, and we’ve a while yet to go.

New tory sound bite alert “nothing wrong” re over spending in 2015 election. Anna Soubry sounded a little threatening to the channel 4 reporter.

New drinking game whilst watching the election coverage. Have a drink when strong and stable, coalition of chaos and nothing wrong is said. Pissed by early evening after the news.

But of course ‘these people’ never had any socialist principles to begin with. It’s not even about fighting amongst themselves. The bottom line is that Blair, Mandelson et all, and their acolytes in the Labour Party, would prefer aa Tory government led by May, to a Labour government led by Corbyn. Given a choice between socialist policies or Conservative policies, socialist policies would come a very poor second. That is why they do everything they can to undermine Corbyn, they are actively working to stop him getting elected with socialist policies. Mandelson even admitted it publicly, saying that he works every day to undermine Corbyn. This will be continuing during the election campaign, Mandelson and Alistair Campbell’s PR firm, Portland Communications, used every dirty trick in the book to try and stop Corbyn being elected leader. Even after he was elected with a thumping majority they immediately started a campaign to have another vote, a vote in which he won with an even bigger majority. Yet these treacherous bastards are still members of the Party. And, during a General Election campaign they are actively working against the interests of the party. I doubt it is even personal with Corbyn, it is purely about the policies he would put in place, and the threat these policies pose to their cosy and privileged lifestyles. Especially the threat, as they see it, to the multi millions they make off the back of positions they held in a Labour government. They are a self serving bunch of shysters, a disgrace, and should be unceremoniously, and publicly kicked out of the Labour Party.

It’ll go down well with parents and students though.

If you want me to pay for it Pap, send someone else. I am one level up from not killing you if we ever meet, paying for your kids to go to school is 7 levels up from that.

Meh, if you’re in business, you pay corporation tax. 26% isn’t a high rate. It’s no coincidence that service have gone down the shitter in the interim. Far better that than hitting employees through national insurance, and yes, I’d stand to personally lose if Corporation Tax goes up.

So what?

keep the money and send yer kids private like Barry innit?

Not saying I would vote imperial forces but wouldn’t want to give the money I earn to Diane Abbot to spunk either. I understand you support labour no matter what, like they are liverpool or something but there must be another, better option?

Someone has leaked Labours election manifesto to the media!

Now there’s a surprise. I wonder who that could have been! A clear and blatant attempt to give the Telegraph, Mail etc the chance to pre empt the launch of the manifesto. Gloves are off, screaming headlines about communist policies, cartoons of Corbyn wearing a Lenin hat with a crazed expression on his face. This leak was about undermining Labour, giving the Tory press the chance to misrepresent them in the minds of their readership. Before they have had a chance to actually read the official manifesto most of them, sadly, will swallow this nonsense. This leak has Portland Communication’s grubby paws all over it. Classic Mandelson and Campbell, doing their master’s bidding. These bastards will stop at nothing, no tactic will be beneath them in their attempts to undermine Corbyn. They are terrified of his policies, it is all about their own self interest, and the self interest of their paymasters. Corbyn and his people should call them out, disown them. Kick them into touch. He has nothing to lose by doing so because they are like a cancer. They will spend the next month until the election doing everything they can, plotting, scheming, calling in favours from their friends in the media, whatever it takes to maintain the status quo, and protect their privileges, and the privileges of powerful elites who have them in their pockets. Bought and paid for.

It was leaked to The Mirror you fucking plum. The Mirror & The Telegraph.

The Tory Press, lol. The reason the press is Tory is because their readers are Tory. It’s not some sort of grand conspiracy, they reflect their readers views. There’s a reason the Guardian sells fuck all, because ordinary people don’t want to buy that pony and don’t agree with it’s politics . The press reflect the country, right wing. There’s a reason Tony Blair is the only leader to win an election since Harold Wilson & it’s not because of the press. It’s because the only way labour get elected is to have a Tory wet as leader. You won’t see another one until the party moves back to the centre right again.
