However to pick up on your analogy, remainers haven’t just shut up. They continue to voice their opposition, seek to overturn decisions in the courts and frustrate the process. If they can do it, then surely it follows that the hunting lobby can do the same.

re fox hunting. A few generations ago my family were farmers. They used to be mighty annoyed when the fox hunt went trashing through their land. So not all countryside folk are happy about it when they try and do the city v countryside angle.

I’m not really sure why you think anyone would deny this story. I think everyone is well aware that the parliamentary labour party is infested with neoliberal cunts who appear to have a similar outlook to yourself.
