It’s a nice show. He plays a washed up PGA Tour Golfer hears someone hitting balls on the range.
It is not the Ted Lasso for Golf it’s a feel better show. Mildly amusing rather than funny
Pleasantly entertaining way to fill time until Happy Gilmore 2 drops but some of the shots/reactions bring back memories.
Wilson is just a little turned down than usual, so not annoying.

As someone very late into Slow Horses (which is great IMHO) the similar premise of a department of misfits, this time in the Police had me worried about a bit of a copycat, but was based on Jussi Adler Olsens books from 2007, Dept Q on Netflix was quite brilliant. Loved it that I ended up binging over 1 day/night 
.
Despite the situation being a bit implausible (urinals and showers in their work space?) The case with various red herrings was excellent and compelling. Highly recommended MOM score

Totally agree, we managed this over 2 nights, was excellent, Detective Morck is a superb anti-hero whilst Akram is just brilliant.
I binge watched Dept Q over three nights last week, really enjoyed it. One of the best police series I’ve seen for ages.
Welcome to Wrexham drifted a bit in the middle of this season, and some of the eidting wasn’t as sharp as before.
But Episode 7 hit all the heartstrings and Ep 8 saw Nathan Jones get shown up as a clown

A gentle rumble along the side of Happy Gilmour and a for once pulled back Owen Wilson performance.
Ep 8 tonight rewarded my investment- it has a Happy/Shooter theme, but it’s denoument made a non golfer laugh
And made me think.
Oh well played and laugh
Golf watchers will know.

Just caught up with Dept Q. Agree this is top police drama.
A slowish start with the star being an anti-hero who hates everyone and everything but it grows quickly and is gripping and very well acted.

50 years on from Jaws that is remarkable

Its 50 years since Jaws. I saw it at the Cinema. After, you couldn’t even get me in the water on Bournemouth Beach.
When I got to Dubai, Terry & Alistair talked me in doing Diving. Getting in for my 1st Dive? It was the bravest thing I ever did.
Some years later up in the Musandam I encountered a 3m Reef Shark. I could have touched it. Fear is the 1st emotion, but, suddenly I was filled with amazement- it was truly a life changing moment for me. What a beautiful animal.
With Jaws50 there are lots of Shark shows, I enjoyed, All the Sharks everywhere, the ITV Shark! Celebrity Filled Waters is grating but reaches a point in Ep 3 where the Celebrities are me - maybe first time ever!
Each one expressing to the cameras what I felt on that day. (Sure they had a lot more elf n safety round them, but seeing them have those emotions- damn)
