S2 Ep8 Under the Cloak of War. All through the show there have been call bcks to the Klingon War from Discovery. This brought a lot of those threads together, a total contrast in tone and morals from last week. The scars of a War where 100âs of millions of Starfleet & Federation âresidentsâ died.
This was deep, dark, and even in moments in the Battlefield Surgery - âlook awayâ.
Superb
But why are we singing?
Well, i doubted an Animation crossover - it was superb.
As a result i never doubted they would pull off a musical.
i swear there is almost a Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy Easter Egg as well!

Luckily havenât understood most of the posts on S2, so going in to S2 tomorrow with a great sense of anticipation- wish me & Mrs_CS luck
S2 is just wonderful
And gets better every week
Then you reach this
Tbh every moment is a joy but the Title Music kicks it off
Obviously Iâm not going to watch it until S2,is done 
And a couple of Lower Dexks episodes before ep7 would help context and some of tge hags
Musical episodes of any non-musical series are generally awful and kill off any connection with the world they have tried to build. They should just concentrate on good storiesâŚ
Tbh, they moved the showsâ storylines forward really well ast night, the Technobabble almost made it plausible and I havenât seen anything but love in the reviews/reaction.
At least they didnât turn into furry bunnies (which is a dig at Buffy the Vampire Slayer apparently

Spock singing about lost love, Kirk with the wtf face just gutted it will be a while before S3 with the whole writers strike.
