They improved.
Strange New Worlds was better but the new Disco stuff opened a new Universe that sadly wont get explored now.
No Picard spoilers doubt I can watch Ep3 til Monday
The Titan is about to get blown up by the Shrike and at that very moment, Picard unveils his robotic cock which darts out of an airlock and creates a huge penile Tholian Web. Vadac is destroyed.
They all return to Earth.
The rest of the series is going to focus on Picard eating buns in his vineyard.

Well, it’s the best four consecutive Star Trek episodes for quite some time. It’s a damn shame they could not strike this tone with the TNG movies.
There’s an action scene in this one which is more sedate and less shaky than anything in the likes of Discovery but is just so much more satisfying.
The first four episodes were like a mini-movie of sorts. I suspect that what we might be getting instead will be the next secret Star Trek trilogy.

Just rewatched on the big TV.
I really would have enjoyed paying to watch that at the Cinema.
