Nah, it’s infamous for being one of the worst sit-coms ever produced.
I’d never heard of it, so googled and found out why. It was on ITV for 2 series in Autumn 84 and Summer 85 on a Saturday evening.
Thank fuck for Saints, pubs and Club Cricket.

Cannot argue with that. I also had never heard of it and if as you say it was on at those times i was never likely to see or hear it.
You certainly wouldn’t have turned over from Live Aid to watch it.
Even if Status Quo were on.
