Perhaps there are questions over why calling someone a paedo is unacceptable but continually calling someone a cunt and threatening them with violence is deemed okay.
I’d suggest both are out of order, but I’m not the one measuring people up for orange boiler suits…and lingering just too long over the inside leg measurements.

Where I grew up (Coxford) people would be slinging that insult around all the time. I hate the term because of the witch hunt mentality it whips up, which I guess is the opposite response to the offence taken on here by it. But as a joke it’s way more ridiculous and therefore non-offensive, than calling someone a term that feels more grounded in reality. Playground insults.
Calling someone paedophile is ok, that is just normal Banter, but Sarb went bit further. Sarb started describing Barry’s fiddlings in detail, and this created mental images in people’s mind, which made them uncomfortable feeling in their pants, so they was Angar.
Same as i.e. referring to Lou’s boobs in the third person is fine, but when beltch starts describing the size and weight etc you can’t help but start touching yourself, which is bit awkward at work.

If a newcomer were to visit Sotonians and see Barry described as a peado they may think it’s true and an injustice would have been done and reputations ruined. If they saw him described as a cunt then…

Remember when bear confessed to being a paedo in the early days and psp went mad? He was PMing me all like “what if a visitor came on the site and found one of our best posters ™ was a paedo? How would they react?” I was up for finding out but Pap deleted the threads and then forced me to give a false confession that it was me using bear’s login (password = alldembitches)!
That would be worth a guesting under the new rules.
