I carried a pie to my van.
Iāve had a good day.
The battle continues tomorrow.
That was the exact wording of my wedding speech.

Yeah, but was that one of your goals? If not: fail.
Too cold to eat it in the street.
102kg estimated starting weight.
I do a regular set of weights and situps. I use a 13kg dumbell because I really donāt want to gain muscle mass.
I do 70 bench presses (from the floor not a bench), 50 situps (lying on floor, knees bent at right angles and raise elbows to knees), 30 single arm presses (from the floor to the ceiling) for left and right, 30 situps where I twist to touch my elbow on my other knee and finally I do 80 curls and 20 side bends with the dumbell both sides.
So Iāve done 3 of those sessions since NYD and have done one HiiT rowing session (5 x 40 seconds intense with 2 mins rest). Also walking 12k steps a day to and from work.
Missed football on Monday night because itās a monthly commitment and I couldnāt commit to play every game. Iāll be back in 2 weeks unless our 5 a side team has enough walking wounded to continue.
Just bike turbo sessions for me as weather is hideous⦠but managing to keep net KCal intake down to around 1750 per day - cut out bread, crisps, beer, and bad things really - eggs, salmon, chicken, fruit on menusā¦
Oh, target is 95kg.
Had burger, chips, onion rings and 3 pints last night in the pub with a mate.
Other than that diet has been pretty good.
Goat - Quit the fooling around and give us our starting weight fat fucker
I had a good day yesterdayā¦my wife signed up at the local slimming class at the village hallā¦sheās aiming to lose a stone.
Well so far so good. Weight is coming off, although that is probably due to coming off my festive 5000 cal / day diet, than any impact of exercise.
Went out this morning on the bike - rain, cold, dark, muddyroads - and I do this for fun?
Weāll done CB, keep going!
Well my fellow chubsters, Iāve also pulled back from the vulgar festive calorie intake and have benefited immediately.
Allied with excercise Iām feeling better - and less hungry.
Itās like a cycle I had to break, similar to the cycle that Gay A is breaking in the turbo sessions.
Iāve also adopted a new policy that will frighten those of an older generation.
Itās called if full, stop eating and just leave stuff on the plate.
So far so good, but I do have a house full of chocolate and crisps and I know my demons.
Fuck me that is prescientā¦
Fucked a rear hub (thankfully cheap winter wheel) on Turbo - admitedly it was on tehe way out after excessive crunching on gritty roads ā¦and possibly by being a chubsterā¦
Well I got down the gym this morning for the second time in three days. Was running very short on time though so did 15 mins on the treadmill at 12km/h and 5 mins at 15km/h. Then 2km on the rowing machine at medium resistance. Like I say, very brief but Iād rather fit an interim workout into the middle of the week than do nothing at all.
First day back cycling into work since before Christmas.
I know itās not the quickest but I do have to contend with traffic.
I didnāt drink last night or the night before and have already walked 8Km today. I might also cancel my gym membership as it is full of Jan people at the moment and itās busy enough anyway plus I am tearing it up with not drinking (2 whole days now!!!) and walking!
Oh I am now walking up the stairs to the 6th floor rather than take the lift.
One thing that I do have problems with is lactic acid, especially in my thighs, how best to counteract this?
Inject lactic alkaline.
An ice bath in the corner of the office.
