Alas - no pay TV
Oops⦠Forgot all about this. Better late than never I suppose. Weight at the weekend was 77.5kg
Weighed myself this morning and I was bang on 81kg. Chuffed to fooking bits as Iāve got some brutal climbing to do in the weeks ahead.
15K done. Thatāll be my last long run before the race a week on Sunday.
I have found the training much harder this year but am just about as ready as Iām going to get.
Be glad to just get round and would be delighted with anything close to last years time of 2 hrs 6 mins.
Wish me luck, Iāll need it and if you feel that way inclined, all donations to the Sotonians charity will be gratefully received:
80kg. Get the fuck in. Iām a slim, lightweight climbing machine.
wentback up to fat bastard first classā¦
have lost 1.8kg last two weeks⦠need to saty off the beer and crisp shitā¦
Southampton Half this morning.

Either way Iām bloody chuffed.

I am off to the South Western to get shit faced
Onya Goatster!
Well, here we are on the first of a new month. My weight (average over past week, as ever) is 75.4kg. Pretty happy with that, though Iād still like to shed a further five kilos. If I carry on as I am doing that should happen over the next few months.
Nice one Flyd Cat.
Will weigh in tomorrow morning. Will have put some on undoubtedly.
88.8k Losing weight slowly but at least going in the right direction. A curry last night and a big portion of fish and chips on Friday wouldnt have helped but sticking to the 5 and 2 and that seems to be doing the job! Lost a stone since I started so one more to go and jobās a goodun!
Nice one. How are you finding the 5:2 diet? Iāve thought about doing that myself, but I find the idea of fasting for two days of the week somewhat off-putting.
It is okay as long as you stick to it. You can get by without too much trouble on 500/600 calories a day two days a week knowing that you can eat what you want for 5 days! Once you get started and work out what you are going to eat on the two fasting days and stick to it, the weight loss follows. There are several of us doing it and we have all lost a decent amount of weight in the last few months. I have porridge with blueberrys for breakfast, miso soup for lunch and something like fish and veg or salad in the evening. It sounds boring but if you think ahead to the next day and that you can eat what you want, it gets you through. Give it a try and let me know how you get on. I go for Mondays and Wednesdays for fasting as it means I can go for it at the weekends!!
Due to my race snake appearance and pure climbing awesomeness Iām now out. Iāll leave it to you fat bastards to look on with envy.
shit, is it that time again?
Iāll get some of the nursing staff to winch me on to the scales in the morning.
I had to get 95.8 bags of Tate and Lyle to spoof this photoā¦

ā¦despite suffering a harrowing shoulder injury (that I donāt like to talk about) which means I canāt row or play football, Iāve lost 0.3kg since the last weigh-in.
I really thought my weight would have increased as Iāve had some pretty beery sessions and plenty of takeaways over recent weeks.
Iām really chuffed with that.
Iāve actually turned to running on the spot as my exercise of choice until I can rely on my shoulder (that I donāt like to talk about - but now youāve asked Iāve just had my second setback).
Last weight - 96.1kg
Current weight - 95.8kg
Loss - 0.3KG
Target weight - 91kg
Without being able to exercise freely, reaching my target weight is going to take a while.
Right, Iām off for 0.3kg of porridge.
90kg.
Iāve crept up a little, mainly because Iāve quietly abandoned all discipline and have been stuffing myself with treats.
This thread has proved itās worth as it makes you face the facts!
Time to be sensible again - for a while.
Gutted!
I almost immediately had another dump* after weighing in. I knew I should have waited.
* I should stress that I was able to wipe my arse without nutella-ing my nuts.
Afterall, itās not like I live in a care home.
⦠cant bring myself to stand on the scales of doom⦠too much riotous and hedonistic adandon type living⦠involving hotels and international travel (ā¦sadly work)⦠but only 10 days to go before heading to France for a week to cycle about 500 miles in 6 days in some warmer weather so that should kick start the next wave⦠will send pics to make you jealous fatsters
