I am sat at 13.5 but gaining muscle, rowing 5000 meters 3 X a week and cycling again 2 X a week.

Today I rowed a personal best of 5000 meters in 23 minutes and 53 seconds. That is the first time I have been under 24 minutes. 3 weeks ago I was 25 minutes, 20 seconds pretty much for the whole week.

My aim is now 13.5 stone by the cycle to the sunset Carlisle to Edinburgh. June 18th.

Love rowing (on dry land) as I’ve got a good frame for it, and used to really love rowing against the clock.

I would do 10K in about 46 mins. But then I discovered HiiT - so now I do about 18 mins of rowing, but in 5-6 intervals.

It’s had a much greater impact on my fitness and weight than all those 40 min+ sessions I used to do.

Give it a go, it’ll likely save you time and speed fitness and weight loss. Just don’t have a stroke*.

BTW your post suggests you are 13.5 NOW and then goes on to say that you’re aiming to be 13.5???

10K training run this morning including return trip over a wet and windy Itchen bridge.

Pretty comfortable now aerobically. Just trying to get the miles into my little stumpy legs now. You can imagine how much fun that is.

Rewarding myself this afternoon with a nice glass of red and rib of beef from Uptons. :lou_lol:

I got to 11am before I sampled chocolate - a personal record for Easter Sunday.

But I’m now off my face on 70%!

Well that was the shittiest time I have ever had on a bike. The headwind from nomansland to boldewood was just ridiculous. At one point I was doing less than 10mph downhill, even fucking gravity would get me down faster in normal conditions.

I went out in wind and was met 1/2 way out by its companions, hailstorm and torrential downpour. 50miles of hard slog.

My weigh in weight is 81.4kg.

OK chubsters, it’s the first of the month. I can report that my average weight over the current week stands at 77.5kg, so I haven’t lost a great deal over the past month. This suggests that I’ve hist something of a plateau, as I’m eating enough to keep my reduced size pretty much where it is. However, as I’d still like to shed some more weight I’ll carry on and increase my efforts.

92 kgs. Just Fuck off :lou_angry:- I have ridden so much i have callouses on the bottom of my ball sack and I still haven’t shifted any weight.

I have spent a month in hotel rooms… i am not lookign forward to the scales of doom when I get home tonight… feel a cock of shame coming on… :lou_facepalm_2:
