Think the board are losing their way a bit with appointments. I hope that I am proved wrong of course, but just cannot get excited about this and think the vision for the club has changed slightly. Don’t get me wrong as his CV is pretty good - well more than pretty good, but just does not sit right with me and a fit for SFC? Am I the only one who thinks this?

This I cannot, just a gut feeling. Is strange, but at the end of his City days, he looked a little clueless at times and a little washed up and a beaten man, even with all the talent he had at his disposal. I just think we will be back here in a years time (or less) having another rethink.
Look I am normally a positive Saints fan, but this just not seen like the right move, for a club with our vision and style of football we are looking to play.
But yes, like a year ago, I still believe that we are missing a trick with De Boer, but I have to say it was a little bit tongue in cheek when it comes to my obsession. I only have the poster, not the duvet set!

TBH you would have had a defeated look on you face if you’d know that you were going to be replaced by someone even though you had not really done anything wrong. I think that Guardiola has proved that Pellegrini didn’t actually do a bad job with City the season before…

Backtracking and reading up on this fella. Don’t like the fact that he has Liverpool connections, but seems pretty good. Only time will tell.
