🚗 🚙 My Next Car Will Be

That is the ex wife thank you very much

I Say Ding Dong!
My next car sticker will be…from this website, I bought a couple this morning:

They specialise in vintage car stickers…lots of rare ones for your vintage MGBGT @scotty

Such a nostalgic picture for Lady Slowlane and I on Wednesday. We’ve had several of these lovely Bentley Continentals over the years. This one at “The Great British Car Journey” was originally owned by Elton John.

That’s a great place to visit. We stayed in the Hurt Arms next door, a couple of years ago now. Also well worth visiting the nearby Crich tramway village if you have time.

Yeah we’ve been to the Crich tramway back in 2010. They have a Southampton tram in their collection. This was a lovely old chap we got talking to, he related stories of Leeds trams…

I’m guessing @lifeintheslowlane may have spotted this one as well. Sunbeam Stiletto, parked opposite the Baddesley Arms for the last couple of days, when’s the last time you saw one of these little beauties??

Parked or dumped?

Harsh.

Parked. Yesterday it was the other side of the entrance, facing the other way.

Looks a bit bland…the original Sunbeam Stiletto has some pretty attractive metallic colours…

Somewhere in my old 70s Custom Cars, there’s an article about a mildly customised one finished in a really beautiful deep bronze metallic. If I happen upon it I’ll post it.

Have you seen the price of stamps??

Labour.

I know the price of workers is shocking :open_mouth:

Our hire car in Spain over the past nine days has been a Toyota C-HR hybrid. It was functional and easy to drive although I couldn’t summon up much enthusiasm for it. But it did the job quietly and using minimal fuel in the process, a grand total of 25 euros worth after a lot of short trips round town and countryside.

Christine 2: She’s back, and this time she’s electric.

That’s a Clean Air Zone. Battery cars, of course, are permitted there because they’re less polluting. :+1::+1::smile:

Saw one of these last week, in this colour. Heading towards Romsey along the A3057 from Stockbridge.

That will be one of Lord Slowlane’s servants, I understand he’s taken delivery of a fleet of them for the below stairs crew to use.
