Christian Eriksen?
What is worrying is that he mentions that heâs going nowhere âthis windowâ and that he has had a contract offer for a while but hasnât signedâŚsounds like he is going in summer then.
It really makes no sense to me. New boy not in squad for Liverpool as heâs not ready but weâre happy to let first choice RB leave? We are weaker now than we were before the window
ÂŁ17m for a player who wanted to move and was out of contract at the end of the season was pretty good business, tbh.
Heâs not ready but will be ready before Cedric would be fit to return.
Purely from a readiness to play perspective it does add up.
AlsoâŚ
Wow. So we learnt from the VVD debacle.
Iâll miss Cedric, good player. Valery will be 1st choice nextcseadon no doubt
Or maybe notâŚ
Now I am confused.
Ah, confused would we?
Yeah me too. JWP is going to have to deputise for a couple of games if this happens. Although he may also have done so anyway.
Perhaps Valery is less dead than we assume?
We had better wrap Bertrand in cotton wool otherwise we face the prospect of having no fit and available senior full backs (Ralph has said Vokins isnât really ready) for the next couple of games. Where the hell is Sam McQueen?
With JWP deputising at right back and PEH possibly going to left back, weâd ruin our midfield with only Romeu left to play that role! Stephens in to midfield perhaps, although that would further disrupt the defence.
I know Ralph likes to work with a small squad but this is going a tad far!
KWP can play left back too.
Not for a player of his quality, I wouldnât say.
See you Cedric?! Youâre nuffinâ.
Youâre worse than nuffinâ. Youâre minus three hundred grand.*

So Raplh confirms we will have an option to buy KWP. Love this
"If he feels comfortable here and plays well and we feel comfortable with him and he likes to play with us, there is always an option to get him in the summer.
Even if itâs not written down, thereâs always an option. I always say, small flowers, you have to look after them and give them water and then they sometimes turn into beautiful flowers."
