đŸ‡źđŸ‡± Israel

The most disturbing thing for me about Starmer is his ability to deny having ever said things that he has literally been recorded saying. It appears to come entirely naturally to him. It doesn’t bode well for the rest of us when he becomes PM, which at the moment is looking odds on.

Regarding his blind support for the State of Israel, all becomes clear when you check out some of his financial backers when he stood for the Labour leadership. Which he refused to divulge during the campaign despite all other candidates doing so. He reluctantly did so after he was safely ensconced in the Party leadership chair, when he immediately set about reneging on the promises he made to the Party electorate in order to win their votes. He’s bought and paid for, simple as that.

The problem is that the Tories are so bad that Labour are now nailed on. Maybe Humza Yousef’s stance on this issue will win the SNP votes, but I think Labour might beat them too.

The media could, and should, be pointing out the numerous examples of u turns or outright lies but they don’t

He’s getting a free pass right now, even, and perhaps especially, when he’s signing off on Israel’s right to use siege warfare and collective punishment on the 21st century

Had a thought today about what “self-defence” would mean for me, as a person.

I expect to be able to defend myself (theoretically) is someone comes at me. I wouldn’t expect to be able to murder the families and neighbours of the person that assaulted me.

I’d be up in court, infamous and serving life if I did.

International law seems a lot easier to break.

Plus they have had 75 years or so to buy the relevant politicians to manage any outrage

Everything I hate about modern society is encapsulated in the “row” M&S has got caught up in

They shared an outtake image of their Christmas advert (filmed in August) where someone was burning xmas party hats - so far so good

Except its not, because those party hats are green, red and silver and they are accused of disrespecting Palestine

So the social pile on starts (about 3 people) and M&S marketing dept shit their pants and issue a groveling apology

Another company rolling over to have its tummy tickled by the professionally outraged

Thought this was interesting

Typical Tories trying to use the media to stifle legitimate protests, foster outrage and try to make illegal protests which won’t even impact on Remembrance Day. Even Farage is getting in on the act.

Fucking hell there are some people with shit for brains who fall for the Government’s dog whistling every time.

I despair about that part of our population who fall for this utter crap. Not a brain cell amongst them.

Withdrawing their votes and compulsory lobotomies should be errrm compulsory- oh, wait that’s a bit like

Somebody should sit Sunak down, and Starmer for that matter and explain to them the meaning of ‘armistice’.

ar mis tice.
an agreement made by opposing sides in a war to stop fighting for a certain time; a truce.
Oh the irony.

Keeping it classy.

Isn’t this the sort of thing our esteemed government who “allegedly” care about all non-combatants should be stopping?

I’ll just pop this here

“ I do not want to ever hear western democracies lecture the rest of the world on human rights ever again.”

Or hear them start banging on about Putin and war crimes.

Reading today that 120 residents of the West bank have been murdered by Israeli settlers between October 8th and October 21st, with numbers increasing by the day. Some settlers wearing army uniforms, some murdered with Israeli police present but looking the other way. Given that Hamas have nothing to do with running the West bank, it’s governed by the Palestinian Authority, and the Israeli settlers are there illegally according to International Law, would the residents of the West Bank be entitled to kill thousands of settlers in the name of self defence after suffering unprovoked murderous attacks? If not, why not?

The trouble is
it goes against the narrative. You’ll only see that on CNN and the ones who need to see it won’t watch CNN.

So sad.

Iran and Putin must be laughing their cocks off

Iran encourage Hamas to kick off knowing full well that Israel will go mental. Starts to divide the Middle East again when things were beginning to settle down between Israel and some of the Arab nations. Iran gets less isolated

Putin will win because the world focus has shifted and the US has every chance of being dragged into it meaning they have lesss appetite to support Ukraine

Pretty good outcome for price of a container load of munitions

Anyone going to the protests in London this weekend?

Im making an effort with an expected hangover to go down and defend the War Memorial in Salisbury Sunday morning

(No coincidence that we are booked for family team buffet lunch next door at midday obv)

Absolutely sickening. But but but - - - Hamas will be the cry from the Israel apologists for genocide, Sunak and Starmer at the fore. The State of Israel are terrorists, plain and simple, it needs calling out for what it is.
