šŸ“ŗ GOOD SHOWS (no capeshit pls)

What was shit about it?

I’d plan/ned to watch it myself.

It bored me. I even had to rewind one bit because I just stopped listening. The main man talks like an idiot. It seems to be throwing in every fantasy type stereotype and cliche. Pointless, gratuitous nudity within 30mins to try and offer some distraction from the utter tedium of it all (which didn’t work).

That’s just my opinion.

I might still give it a go.

Thx.

After studying the program for exactly no time at all (I do understand how America’s propaganda industry works* though), i’ve edited a little(hope you don’t mind. I’m sitting in a station bored).

* A small taster of what making visual propaganda really means.

** mine, not yours and i’d like to say i’ll shut up now, but still at station(and a bit pissed) so probably won’t.

I do apologise(train’s late, so take that with a pinch of salt ).

Dracula on bbc1 last night (part 1 of 3) was excellent. The best Christmas/New year TV as far as I’m concerned.

Second part also excellent.

Bosch. TV cop series set in LA, based on books by Michael Connolly. A cut above the normal. On Amazon.

Below the Surface. Danish based terrorist thriller. Part subtitles, part English. Was on BBC 4 I think

It’s been a tough December an even tougher LOADSA POINTS Christmas.
So, Gentlemen (& Ladies) IF you are low on Brownie points sit the other half down, fire up Netflix and The Movies That Made Us.
1st episode, Dirty Dancing will hold your interest ( and annoyed the fvck out of me as to why I didn’t ask him more questions when I spent 2 hours with him back in '94)
The Other half will go OMG at least a dozen times as they learn about budgets bad knees & Red Dawn.
The next episode is legendary if you make it - Home Alone
How stupid were Warner Brothers!

Watched part 1 with Mrs BTripz last night, half way through she said she was tired and was going to bed BUT she stayed the course.

Thought it was excellent to be honest, the humour in it is fantastic.

Looking forward to watching part 2 tonight.

Thought part 3 was disappointing

Yes, not as good as the other two. I still enjoyed it, but definitely the weakest episode.

For me though, Dracula did look like the bastard love child of a threesome between Christopher Lee and two James Bonds (Brosnan and Lazenby) which did distract me somewhat as I tried to work out who ā€˜played Mummy’

Bloody hell.
Dracula is on Netflix already

Why are you so surprised?

The cunt can turn himself into a mist or into a bat.

Getting on Netflix seems like a trivially human feat by comparison.

Oh now that was a brilliant line.

Yeah, I’m not sure present Aussie climate conditions will go down well at Worthy Farm.

We’ve just watched the first part and thoroughly enjoyed it. My partner, who is of a weaker disposition to me, may have nightmares.

Netflix must have thought they had a winner.

A great story by a Polish Author. Stunning locations including one of our tour sites.
Yet somehow it doesn’t work.
The Witcher is good binge watch TV. It has great Bewbs. It has a Hollywood A-Lister.

Maybe Henry Cavills inability to actually act is the problem.
