Does anyone know how to move a lung?

I’ve eaten so much and now I can’t breath

Running for the bus and have realised that there isn’t enough space for me innards.

They’re soon to be outards.

Would that I could. It’s 5 courses of Chinese food up round my heart and throat. It’s 12 hours away from digestive transit.

If I had a knife I’d cut it out.

Ok… calls for emergency measures… if you can’t get it to pass through gut, rectum and anus, then you need to bring it all back up.

Suggest going back to the salty cock you were sucking on earlier and I don’t mean the peking style one

I’ve always thought that if I was in a real medical emergency that I’d post my symptoms here rather than dialling 999.

Only because the NHS is overstretched…

Standby, I’ll let you know how I go.

7 mins for bus.

Good luck, I am

I see the Mail readers struggled with the adaptation - and a couple of sweary words with one fine reader … and I quote ā€˜I switched off after they made Scrooge used the F-word, and i’m Proper sweary me’’

Does Fatso read the Mail? Did he write I?

Did we need another purist adaptation since there are many?

Or is this ā€˜peaked Blinders’ version a fair modernisation?

I suspect the ā€˜right propa sweary bloke’ loved the modern version with Grant Mitchell as Eddie Scrooge, dept collector…

It’s what @Barry-Sanchez would do.

Well I’m home now and let’s just say that I’ve solved one internal plumbing problem by causing an external plumbing problem.

Once I get it to flush I’ll be fine.

Mackenzie Crook’s new adaptation of Worzel Gummidge is a joy. With added The Unthanks. Available on iplayer.

We really enjoyed this. Good family stuff. As with the Detectorists, Crook is proving his writing and directing mettle.
