But you are completely correct about Gomorrah.

Stunning.

* Bletch is aiming for irony-laden humour here.

I’m just glad you bothered to ā€œwelcomeā€ someone for a change.

White Collar is pretty good

Welcome CINGRAM. Please excuse bletch. He is still recovering from a nasty accident involving vigorous wrist action and a picture of Holly Willoughby.

I’m currently watching some cracking TV shows at the moment:

  • Modern Family - brilliant comedy, very well shot

  • The Walking Dead - although now waiting for season 7 to commence in October. For anyone that is yet to see this, I was sceptical at first, but how wrong I was!

  • Blindspot - interesting crime drama. Give it time. I will admit, my love for tattoos was what grabbed my attention.

I’ve also watched some blinders that have now finished. Breaking Bad, Luther (I love Idris Elba a bit more than I should)

Welcome to Sotonians, M8D7C, which I have decided to pronounce as ā€œMate De Sevensyā€.

I’m sure you pronounce it differently.

I only really watch The Walking Dead out of the shows listed above. I’m about a year behind on the TV version, probably about the same on the comics, which are much further ahead themselves.

It’s a similar kind of treatment to the GoT adaptation. Both universes exist and share big similarities, but each goes off in its own way. Waiting for the missus to get home so I can watch Thrones, and important enough show to have its own thread.

The wrist condition’s medical term is Willy Holloughby.

RIP.

I have vote you up M8D7C bc I like ur username - it was my nickname at school, what’s the chances! I also appreciate ur Input.

However, I am in charge of curating gd shws and I am put a Viewer Aware notice on ur suggested gd shows.

Modern Family I have not watched. I was put off by the title which sounds v.vanilla + generic. and it is perhaps guilty by association with My Family, which was that BBC sitcom which was Terrible. I will put this shw on the Provisional list.

**The Walking Dead ** I watched this for a while, but I had to ban it from gd shows in the end, bc although I liked the Zomboids, I thought everything else was v.dumb. I have relegated this show to paps Capeshit thread.

**Blindspot ** I gave this a good try. I watched about 17 mins of the first episode, but then I had to consign it to the Rubbish Bin. It seemed to me that it is what we call round here a ā€œDubai Philā€ type show, and therefore, not fit for human consumption. I respect ur suggestion to give it time tho, but I think I will need someone else to second this show. Someone who is not Dubai Phil tho.

Breaking Bad is fine. That is pass the censor so congratulations.

Luther is not my show, but I think I will allow it. I don’t think it’s bad. I saw the first series, I thought I might watch some more sometime maybe.

You’re being very Geographist Bear.

It’s not my fault they don’t show Peaks Blinders down here. AND streaming? Nah I can’t watch Judder vision these days.

Finally getting Bear Grilled & running wild. So glad I now caught up with the whole Kate Winslet fish scale on her Nipple saga.

Want proper TV? Sultan al Harem. The Arabic GoT. No I don’t understand a word but it looks good

Bearsy, I will second Blindspot, although I find it a little Far Fetched, if I may borrow your use of capitilisation.

I would like to know what drugs can induce a Total Loss Of Memory, whilst still retaining Use Of Language.

Could come in useful.

Watched first series when first on Sky over a year ago, not started second series yet, will watch when done with a few others.

Is excellent compelling drama

The Ch4 programme, Interview with a murderer, was very interesting last night. I wonder if the police will be picking up on the content.

I’m reluctant to watch subtitle show. Is it hard to follow the finer points of the plot if ur simultaneously checking facebook on ur phone, popping to kitchen to make sandwich, and sticking in panini stickers? Etc

How do you text with bear fingers?

Mentioned a few days ago The Disappearance. Not one for Bearsy due to the subtitles. It’s a French remake of a Spanish drama. I am now on episode 6 and everyone is so shifty that you have no idea who the murderer is. It’s getting fairly good reviews.

What you mean is that you mostly listen to TV shows.

Watched Gomorra last month too - fantastic show. Have heard mixed things about Season 2 and haven’t got round to watching it yet, but it’s very compelling stuff.

Got it recorded, will watch when I’ve finished a few other things.

About 5 episodes into series 2* and it’s building nicely with some ugly scenes and big shocks.

*Bletch refuses to use the term season when he really means series.

If you like Gomorrah, try and find Romanza criminale - tells the story of crimianl scrotes in Rome who build an empire… cool vibe
