Are people as apathetic as you say. Most of the people Iâve spoken to at work (white collar professionals) are so anti-Tory that it gladdens my heart. How thatâs reflected in the ballot box is anyoneâs guess

Not going to purposely be combative, but the changes werenât just because of Drs kicking off.
The LTA also impacted on people who were offered relatively high lump sum death in service benefits - which are also lumped in with pensions - and unintentionally fucked up beneficiaries where any return of pension funds and lump sum benefits exceeded the LTA resulting in a punitive 50% tax charge to the beneficiaries.
Not good but great for my firm setting up Excepted death benefits which fall outside of pensions legislation (DM if anyone needs advice at a corporate level 
)
Current Tory legislation has replaced the LTA with a threshold that creates a tax charge (funnily enough at the same level as the LTA)
The change has also removed any âprotectionâ people may have had for benefits above the LTA. If Labour repeal the current legislation then these people may get fucked over.

This has just been made up on the hoof, no planning, no costing, just a gimmick. Sunak and his inner circle must realize by now that heâs royally fucked up calling the election so quickly without even warning the party, they are in meltdown. Now they are desperately trying to come up with something they think will be popular out there, anything at all. Next up restoration of the death penalty? I wouldnât put it past the pathetic little prick.
