Classics and staple in my student days for wooing ladies to who saw you as sensitive and intellectual Good films though has to be said - Always like the fact that Daniel Auteuil (Ugolin) did get together with Emmanuelle Beart (Manon (see below)) (What a ridiculously good-looking woman she was)⦠but they divorced some years later⦠made in mid 80s, yet seemed not to break into the mainstream UK until late 80s/early90s when I believe Channel 4 first showed them - oh the days when it took 3-4 years for films to be first broad cast on TVā¦
Is that the bloke form Thatās Life in there too?
Playing a copper I think
Fuck, how did he get that past Esther? Mind you she always looked like liked a good Gnoshing with those knashersā¦
Thank you, Mr Keats.
Dullche est decorum etse mate
That is him surely?
corrected for you
On the right
Esther lives (or used to live) near Bramshaw. She bought a cheap piano from me, must be thirty years ago now.
Murray Walker lived nearby as well
Still does. Did some work there during lockdown. Sheās very pleasant. No pictures of savile anywhere.
Penny Hill, wasnāt it? If memory serves.
Canāt remember. Nice house though.
Past the Bentley garage, on the right. I never met her myself, she sent her housekeeper to buy the piano. The room it went into had shelves stacked to the ceiling with files marked Childline.
Thatās the one.
Weird:The Al Jankewitz story is a mess.
Al became famous in the 80s for writing parodies of famous songs.
The film starts seriously but becomes s parody.
Tbh in the 1st hour it is really funny. I laughed a lot.
I like stupid and the scene with like everyone in it was classic.
David Hockney, Per Wee Herman Alice Cooper, Grace Jones, Wolfman Jack & John Deacon was a near spray the laptop moment
The remainder was weird sometimes stupid Pablo Escobar, Madonna.
Entertaining after a few beers/vodkas/day in the rain.
Oh and the Michael Jackson parody is cringe inducingly hilarious.
Worth a watch but not sober
Enola Holmes 2
Ridiculous and full of plot holes, but fun nonetheless
Synchronic. Netflix. 2019 low budget sort of sci fi sort of time travel sort of drama.
Did nothing on release in 2019, flying in Netflix ratings.
Slow, clever full of plot holes but engrossing and Anthony Mackie is superb in it.
Decent watch
