Consuming copio6amounts of booze & turning geek setting off.
We’ve all seen The Matrix movies & know a sequel is impossible
It isn’t
Great film.
Loved it.
You will too. With booze
Watching the first three to reacquaint myself with the story
Do you hear that Mr Anderson? That is the sound of inevitability…
Lady Slowlane, myself and select staff watched “No Time To Die” yesterday evening and very much enjoyed it.
SPOILER ALERT: it’s 2 hours 46 minutes long.

and all the better for it.
Netflix
Don’t Look Up.
Imagine Armageddon being rewritten in today’s Tik Tok, BoJo Corporate world.
Great cast, Di Caprio, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Jennifer Lawrence. A biting satire on today’s society and Sci-Fi.
Much better than Home Alone again!
Yep watched it this afternoon…a gut punch on the mores of modern media.
Black comedy where you laugh at everything you’ve hated about the media of the last 5+ years.
When Mrs P_F sprays Tawny Port at a Sci Fi joke I know it is hitting home.
Luckily we are socially distanced and she just ruined another mask!
2hrs 23 minutes of di Caprio, meh
You get to see Meryl Streep’s Bum…
2hrs 23m of Jennifer Lawrence with a Mullet.
We just watched it. On first viewing I’ve got to say it’s easily the weakest of the Craig era by a very big margin. Moderately enjoyable in bursts, but at least half an hour too long. Action sequences and storyline both half-hearted and unconvincing, a preposterous villain in Rami Malek, (who I thought was superb in Bohemian Rhapsody,) redeemed only by a raft of really impressive back references to the Fleming books and previous scores, which I loved. Poor theme song though, one of the worst the franchise has produced.
I shall give it another whirl in a month or two to see if another viewing alters my initial opinion. But for me, on first viewing, 4/10.
Scarily plausible

You could be on to something here Phil, a sotonians version of the oscars for our furry little friends. My favourite animactors of all time:
‘‘London’’, German Shepherd - ‘The Littlest Hobo’.
‘‘Beasley’’, Dogue De Bordeaux - ‘Turner and Hooch’.
‘‘Gizmo’’, Mogwai - Gremlins.
Maybe another one.
Pig.
I shall return when I work out what its about
That actually looks faintly interesting. I met a few truffle hunters in southern Italy with the ex-wife, most had dogs but one had a truffle pig. Kidnapping or killing these animals by rival trufflers is unfortunately quite common if they’re good at the job, because truffles are so valuable.
Its 10 hours since the film finished.
Nope.
Still don’t know what it was about or at least what the point was.
But in shock news, Nicholas Cage almost acts in it.
Netflix.
Death to 2021.
The sequel to 2020. Same format. Same cringing
We laughed
Netflix. Red Notice.
Absolutely trash heist/Raiders of the lost Ark/ Comedy caper.
Nonsense.
We laughed a lot.
Stupid and
The Death of Stalin, by Armando Ianucci.
Stellar cast, beautifully written, excellent throughout. Highly recommended.
The Hangover.
Never seen it before, lmfao
Proper bloke fodder, the bird’s away this week so I’m catching up with the library of juvenilia. And this film hits the sweet spot
