šŸ‡¾šŸ‡Ŗ Don't mention Yemen

Isn’t that lovable rogue Iran funding and arming the Houti Fighters who’s motto is the ever so catchy

God is the Greatest
Death to America
Death to Israel
Cursed be the Jews
Victory to Islam

Pretty much my motto too.

So you support the head choppers then?

No, where have I said that, I’d like to see their differences sorted out over a table.

As a sidenote you’re probably not aware but Houti’s also carry out capital punishment and their human rights record is also woeful.

Backwaters.

Ah the old ignoring grey areas line.

Evil Saudi are bombing some poor geezer who used to play with The Blowfish

But it isn’t. It is a war because Israel are scared of Iran.

Iran supports an insurgency, USA and UK cant be anti semitic and don’t want to play so they support the guys doing the shitty work.

All tragic, all pointless and has pretty much destroyed a beautiful country and people.

Phil, this is a proxy war between Iran and Saudi, Israel for once have little to do with this, they’re happy its going on but this is about economy, political and religion between the two nations.
They’ve been at it for years and fund all sorts of wars.

Yeah.
Which is why Israel is best mates now with GCC countries.

That doesn’t mean anything other than that really, this is all about Iran and Saudi, Sunni and Shia.

It’s also about the countries supplying arms to the conflict.

Not the ones firing them? Don’t they play a part? If I got caught drink driving would I blame the local car dealer for selling me the motor?

Well since you mention that, British firms are involved in assisting many of the automated systems to hit their targets, so we bear a greater level of responsibility than mere arms sales.

Because we’re an arms manufacturer we have to take responsibility for the deaths it creates? So you blame the Ukrainians for using British made weapons defending their homeland?
Or is it merely offensive weapons?

Yeah.

There is stuff I won’t do on a matter of principle. Turned down a job offer because one of the firm’s clients was a loan shark. I might not have been a bailiff smashing somebody’s door in, but I would have been part of that chain.

The UK needs an arms industry. I’d just prefer it to exclusively supply the UK armed forces and no-one else.

Fanciful notion built on idealism and not pragmatism, by your logic might is right then? If a small nation can’t manufacture arms it can’t buy any to defend itself?

Bob……!!!

And yet, this is precisely how it has worked for most of history. It’s only really in the post-industrial age that things have changed.

And yes, small nations that didn’t have the ingenuity or inclination to defend themselves got fucked.

Many of them were a lot older than 31 at the time.

So the Houti’s can’t buy arms as they don’t manufacture any?

Your argument and stance is bizarre (or biased).

The Houthis can do whatever they want.

My point is that we don’t have to be involved in this business and the graphic shows that our armed forces are working for the arms industry.

Your point is hypocritical (and bollocks as per) from a only a few posts above.

Your simplistic cartoon shows a point of view you agree with, nothing more.
