Tis true - they clearly started with a blank piece of paper and asked whether a ventilator was actually required.
We have this level of expertise in the UK, yet we also discover that itās not possible to deliver boxes of masks from one location to another.
The lack of quality at the top of some organisations is staggering.

The entire nature of Finance needed to change. Fast buck deals versus investment.
British Engineering companies have had problems getting things into Production since I left college.
Easier to be a hedge fund & burn things down than an investor & build them up.

I didnāt know whether to put this here or in the ālaughā threadā¦
We have just been told offshore that even if our back to backs get to Labuan, we will only be allowed to get off and stay in Labuan and not be allowed to travel home. Will have to stay in Labuan hotel at company expense for a month, then come back offshore for another month. That is after already having a week added to my rotation. So looking at possibly, if travel is allowed getting back to Philippines to see wife and kids mid June at earliest.

Thatās exactly why and how I do what I do. The latest client Iām working with on a Ā£1.4m investment was right at the point of contract signing ā¦ easy job for you Chris, just get the project installed. Wait up a minute, unless Iāve misunderstood the process you explained to me, this piece of kit is in the wrong place. Oh yeah, how did we miss that ā¦ cos you were in solution mode from the start rather than working out exactly what you wanted and what you wanted to achieve. Doh. Needless to say, weāre now back on track with the right solution, at lower cost. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.

There is the start of logic to that.
Some (untrialed) evidence that catching the virus in a small initial amount eg after 2 days on a surface vs a cough in the face means the body has less initial bugs to fight & can ramp up the immune defence with less trauma.
Could be in a few weeks we all get sent 1 bug to sniff & get a milder dose.
None of us will be doing much until we are immune letās face it. Maybe a way forward but lots of testing to be done!

My Media Marshal buddy from Dubai & Paris Ryder Cup FINALLY made it home to Hamburg from Miami today.
29 hours, 4 flights Miami-Newark-Toronto-Geneva-Hamburg.
After 5 cancellations & 2 hotel closures.
Very lucky as so many are still stuck.
Straight in to 2 weeks Quarantine. Nothing in his apartment except a very stale pint of milk!
