Silver linings are that I donāt think weāre going to trust politicians of this calibre, e.g. mostly PPE graduates that havenāt done anything close to what the majority would consider a real job. This is a lack of follow through typical of those that are more used to talking about stuff than doing stuff.

I believe itās a similar story with flights from Spain/Madrid.
I watched a Sky News report earlier about the efforts their reporter had to take to get into China.
All cabin staff were on the planes were in full PPE, temperature taken multiple times on the flight and at every point of departure/boarding.

Letās not beat about the bush here, it is blindingly obvious from the actions, (or inactions) of the government over the past few weeks that they will keep the herd immunity project going for as long as they think they can get away with it. Nothing else makes sense.
Plenty of footage on all news channels of the police drones catching dog walkers in remote spots, but not a dicky bird about 20 flights a day coming into Heathrow from NY, no checks on passengers, all disappearing to all points of the UK via tubes, trains etc. Why is that i wonder, surely to any normal person it has to be newsworthy under current circumstances.

They need to get those tests our there seeing who has antibodies now, or if they even have it and get people to work, especially key workers. Two of my colleagues quarantined for colds. They are now going to wor at home due to having kids at home anyway.
With the first two UK doctors now dead from contracting COVID-19, the government is about to get pelters over the lack of personal protective equipment.

Both my friend who work in NHS have had it. One doesnāt even see patients. So it will have gone though staff in hospitals quite easily.
PPE and testing of all staff. Save the letter and leaflet which will no doubt be binned.
