Really not impressed with the government’s approach. All the right things are being done, but far far too slowly, or with no real consideration.
Policy lately just seems to have been to made up on the hoof. When the furloughing was mentioned for permanent employees, people were saying “what about the self-employed?”.
Even that is happening far too slowly. We’re not even out of March yet and people have to wait until June? What are they going to do for two months?
