Just had a video call with him. Hasnât got out of bed for the last 4 days but thankfully heâs just started to see an improvement. He sounds like shit and is coughing the whole time. Again, says itâs worse by far than anything heâs ever had. 111 says he probably has a mild case given his description!
Just before he left Italy he waited on the plane for 4 hours whilst they were waiting to fill up the plane. He feels it was during this time he got infected and he was wearing a mask the whole time.

Glad to hear he is improving.
Most masks (available to general public) are pretty useless sadly and even if not, if the eyes are not covered you can still get the virus anyway

Reading a few posts (not taking them as gospel obv) but it seems you basically need to be nearly dead to even get to see a Doctor or get admitted to Hospital.
It affects fish. 3 skate players have got it.
Hopefully they will blow up the bridges on M275 and Eastern Rd and let it drift out to sea.

My bird saw her doctor on Monday. It wasnât an urgent issue, she had phoned for an appointment the previous Thursday. Saw him as arranged, he booked her in for an ecg to be on the safe side, (which turned out clear,) that was done on the Wednesday, and a blood test which was taken yesterday. The surgery was quiet when I took her, but there was no suggestion I noticed that asked people not to come, apart from the obvious âif you have the following symptomsâŠâ stuff. No idea how typical that is among other surgeries, but itâs a practice covering quite a large area and a lot of people.
Are we betting money on this?

My supermarket had more stuff - veg, fruit and even some meat - than I have seen for two weeks. Maybe supply catching up with demand? Or some muppets have died?

So it occurred to me that the retail shops are still open and I hate shopping in crowds

And if it would be so easy to fix, why are they not doing it - especially as now the restaurants are closed we will lean of the raw food chain more?
Also, new health advice (from a consultant but not the government yet) that people that have suddenly lost their sense of taste and smell should self-isolate. The suggestion is that this might mean they are asymptomatic carriers.
