Who knows my bloody risk at a packed Edgbaston tomorrow?

Judging by Broad Street tonight, which looks a lot like the Wild West, it could be risky as fuck

We prefer to be called young adults actually…

I’ve received my first texts from Saints ever to ask if I want to buy a ticket for the Wolves game - the answer being no given that I generally just go to the London away games

Yeah my thoughts exactly well said comrade…

Especially if you don’t have to pay for the ticket

Well based on my 48 hours in Brum, Covid in the Midlands must be almost eradicated!

Mask wearing in shops, hotels, and on my overbooked / rammed train back is about 5-10%. Mostly visitors who have not heard the news about the breakthrough success I guess.

The question is how long should mask wearing continue for

This is not going away ever

the area I am meant to live in in tne Philippines is going to full lockdown again from midnight tonight. they had 30 cases reported.

I imagine their vax rates are fairly low

Surprisingly not all the kids have been jabbed once and the mrs double jabbed.

I’ve been to both Saint’s home games and as one of the very few mask wearers, I’ve been made to feel an oddity. Fortunately I’ve always been aware of this fact. However the numpties are unaware I’m wearing the mask in an act of intellectual superiority.

Lymington market was packed yesterday morning with not a mask in sight. I am hoping that Covid kills off some of the salmon slacks and quilted gilet brigade.

Obviously you weren’t there at the same time as me then as I was wearing a mask…granted I think I was the only one

As this now seems to be the Mask Report, I can confirm a solid sub-2% showing on the Mask-o-meter for Shootash boot sale and Badger Farm Sainsburys yesterday. I’d put Nursling B and Q at around the 10% mark at 8pm, and add that there was an unofficial hot car gathering in the car park, with donuts being performed in front of Carpetright.

Hope that helps.

I’m amazed that this lack of masks combined with a lot of festival s / football games etc hasn’t sent the rates sky high

They just seemed to have plateaued somewhat

I’m not convinced that football crowds necessarily pose a risk (posted a long hypothetical calculation earlier) if you’re just considering sitting together.

But the way fans (probably drunk) interact before, during and after the match makes a huge difference, especially for the unvaccinated.

I hope you’re not implying that they’re all poofs. :rage::rage:

You may infer what you wish. (But clearly we don’t have those sorts)
