3/4 of the teachers were unvaccinated (staus of #4 unclear). Its not a loss is it? When the teachers canāt even figure out what the right thing to do is you are truly f#cked.

And the decision is to postpone Spain to next year. Not that I donāt think itās safe to go now, nor that it will necessarily be better in 2022, but unless weāre both relaxed about it, better to explore a bit more of the UK instead.

Iām not sure how they intend to return to normal with this strategy.
With only 17% vaccinated and so few cases, little immunity is being built up. It seems to me theyāre going to be in a permanent loop of locking down every time thereās a case, unable to open up to tourism.
Unless they belatedly get on the vaccination train.

But I agree with your point, it seems impossible to envisage an end stage for them, just repeated lockdowns every time anyone sneezes.

Over here it seems kids are now immune.
In the Mall on Saturday evening, nobody under 30 wore a mask.
The concert tonight no masks in the crowd (but it is outdoors) and singers going walkabout in the audience
sigh.
Even if they do 20% of those vaccinated are going to get it and a decent chunk of those over 80 are going to die
That is the inescapable facts
Six more months and their population are going to start getting the arse
Those idiots at the NHS have revised the date for my second jab and now set it to 30 Sept but telling me I can bring it forward if I like and on checking I can bring it forward to the original date they gave me on the 9th Sept. Twats.
But I also have a provisional booking for 23rd August for a walk in Jab.

YoungAdult#2 has been back from tour of SW and his student digs in Cardiff with 7 mates for just about a week.
All of them have now tested positive for Covid (& been slightly ill) except YoungAdult#2 who was doubled jabbedā¦
