:covid_19: 😷 🏥 Corona Virus the thread for all your fears ❓

Amazing to see how Japan’s abysmal vaccine record, (3% of the population) flies in the face of confidence for hosting a safe Olympic Games. :lou_facepalm_2:

Ah.
The old Nepal variant trick eh?

Now step back a bit. Portugal cases go up because of the football, namely Brits travelling there.

Guess what happens next?

Nobody will let you in no matter what course you say they are.

Blimey :flushed:

If he is far-right he probably just needs to adjust his scope.

Ouch.

Mrs P_F & BFF jumped through hoops to get Pfizer jabbed 8 days ago.
Today both feel like they’ve been hit by a train, plus some throats & headaches.

Mrs P_F
" shit I’m an idiot. I should have had Astra Zeneca.at least I know for a fact having something British inside me would be guaranteed to have no reaction"

:man_facepalming::man_facepalming:
Damn that hurt

Sitting in the car park at Sandown racecourse where Mrs C_S is getting her 2nd jab.

I’m due to be fully 5G enabled tomorrow :+1:

The EU have announced their App.
Released from 1st July.
Allows you to record your vax status, last test & if/when you got the thing.
Valid for 12 months allows test free movement inside EU.
Simples.
Unless local state has a lockdown.

No Vax? No App? Fine just get a test & wave your paper at Border control.
How simple is that?

Question.
Pfizer jab side effects. Anyone have any or know anyone who did?
Mrs P_F was jabbed on 1st. Started feeling like she’d been hit by a train on 3rd. Now 7th still rough. Slight fever and run down. No impact on taste/smell, no cough.
Doc appointment is Wednesday, Pharmacy said symptoms were “very common” & gave herbal meds & panadol. (Not THOSE herbal meds)
BFF jabbed same time, same symptoms but less severe

Anyone else?

I know of at least 12 people who have had the 2 Pfizer jabs. None have had major side effects, although 7 of the 12 said they were “a bit rough” for a day or two. I had them as well. 1st jab was on a Thursday and i felt shagged out on Friday pm and all day Saturday. Was fine by Sunday. after the second jab i had no side effects whatsoever, except (as i have said previously) an increased desire to smash Nigella Lawson’s back doors in, but that was probably down to watching a couple of repeats of Nigelissima one weekend morning whilst i was in my dressing gown.

Dunno

Mrs C_S had the Astra Zeneca jab yesterday and felt a bit rough this morning, but is fine now

I’ve just had my Ford Astra jab so am now Teflon / 5G enabled, but will probably have a tendency to rust.

Cheers sounds similar.
I have explained your story then waved the empty bottle of Charfonnay & .missing 1/3rd bottle of Johnnie Walker
Think keeping going/over doing is the issue here.

I had my first dose of Pfizer yesterday - felt a bit grim last night, but totally fine after Paraceramol.

But then as caveats I did have Covid in November and I’m 27 so it was always unlikely to be bad for me

Lady Slowlane and I have had both of our AZs and made it clear we would be suing the authorities if either of us suffered side effects.
Unfortunately no recordable side effects were suffered and our Lawyers who were on a waiting brief have been stood down. :unamused:

Here’s an unwelcome side effect…

God Bless Grant Schnapps.
2 separate groups confirmed week long bookings today
Both Maltese families.
Both gave up trying to visit UK on holiday.
That means I now have 3 out of 8 weeks booked in school holidays already.
EU App is making it much easier

Vaccine passport for Wembley…

Guess what?
We are seeing outbreaks in schools again.
And they are starting to close down.
