FDA in US have paused the Johnson & Johnson jab due to clotting - 6 people out of 6m have had an clot
They are getting some grief - with people pointing out that it is far more dangerous for a black man to interact with US law enforcement; also:
1 in 1000 users of birth control develop clots
If you get Covid the chances of getting a clot are greater than 1 in 50

Picked up our free test kits - loads of places handing them out, so lots of people can get these kits.
Ours has 7 test kits in, so at twice a week that’s nearly 3 weeks.
Young (but old) adult has twice weekly tests provided by the school he works at.
Mrs TB instigated getting these, because she has a bit of a cold.
Her first test has revealed negative, so we are clear! A positive would have been a bit of a nuisance as we start being allowed to do more.
I will do a test once I have overcome my fear of sticking the stick thing down my throat and then up my nose.
On a more serious note, i suspect that any further lockdown, would be met with it being ignored and civil disobedience - mostly by those who voted for him…

The chances of getting a blood clot from taking a long haul flight are higher. The caveat being that these are a dfiferent kind of blood clot.
