On a related note, i’ve just been reading the figures from the Crown Prosecution Service that show violent assaults on emergency staff working on the Covid-19 front line are the most common crime of the pandemic. Nearly 1,700 people have been charged with offences including attacks on nurses and police. Absolutely shocking figures which shame the country. What are we coming to.
I’d give them the longest tariff I possibly could and also draft a law that’s states if you’re guilty of any assault on emergency staff its double the normal tariff, they’re sub human who do this.
