Our local council had a webinair on covid today. I didnât sign up to it and have just read some of he posts under the Facebook thread. Mainly 'when am I going to get the vaccine (I am 25/50 etc). Read the bloody info on line guys. I mean you are using the internet to engage on the thread. One guy was trying to be helpful signposting people to sites but still being told he was wrong.
Apparently at 2 vaccination sites they had to apologise as things didnât go smoothly after a they agreed to take some spare doses so more people were around the building or queuing outside. They are doing their best.
A wedding party with 400 guests was broken up by police in east London last night, with the organisers in line for a ÂŁ10,000 fine for breaking Covid restrictions.
The guests fled the scene when officers arrived at the Yesodey Hatorah Girls Grammar School in Stamford Hill, where they found the windows covered.
The area is home to the UKâs largest Charedi, or ultra-orthodox Jewish community.
A Metropolitan Police statement to community leaders, seen by the BBC, says there was clear evidence of a wedding having taken place.
The Met says organisers will be reported for consideration of a ÂŁ10,000 fine under coronavirus regulations, while other guests were issued with smaller fines.
What a massive âfuck youâ to the NHS from the people that attended that wedding and members of their community. According to the BBC report this is not the first event at that school.
No wonder the hospital I work at is running 92 ICU beds. We normally have 34.

Someone had âexpectationsâ of what a Wedding should be like.
They saw nothing wrong in what they did. They would have âknownâ rules do not apply to them.
That will continue and MANY people will not care about social duty.
BUT in the future are those expectations actually valid? Will you have 400+ weddings. Football Crowds. Will normal return or will there be a new normal.
With the daily fear preachings it will not be any time soon. So then what?
We do our bit to help all and weâll all be out of this sooner, Iâve missed weddings, christenings, holidays, birthdays, funerals like everyone else.
Theyâre not better than anyone else, more deserving, more entitled, theyâre simply selfish cunts who have no civic duty.

Another thing that has pissed me off after this incident, the school governors say it was nothing to do with them and issued a statement that they were absolutely horrified and wholly condemn the incident.
They have handed over bookings for the hall to a letting agent. Does that abjugate them from responsibility, no fuckinâ way. During a pandemic that hall should be empty and letting agents not needed. The Letting agent should be continually informing the owners as to whom uses the hall or maybe itâs none of their business if it were let to an EDF convention.
