2 years jail in Malaysia for the second offence fine for first offence
The FiL had his first jab on Saturday. It was the first day that this particular Hospital had administered it, so there were always going to be teething problems, but asking 80+ year old people with a multitude of health problems to queue in temperatures barely above 1 degree for over an hour before they get a jab is crazy. This is not the fault of those working tirelessly to get through as many jabs as possible however, but the fault of this useless fucking Government who should be providing the support function to the NHS to enable them to administer the jab as easily as they can. If he went to his GP and said āIām going to stand still outside in freezing temperatures for an hour and a halfā he would say youāre being fucking stupid. And what happens when it pisses down with rain?
Iāve referred to the logistical problems on a previous post and can only see this getting worse unless the useless mop haired cunt and his dickhead mates get their act together.
Haha, yeah Iām pretty sure it will be down to the French. Even though every report of the new strain arriving in countries around the world was discovered in people flying in from the UK.
Anyone else slightly concerned at the news yesterday that Tony Blair has been advising Hancock regarding the vaccine roll out, and covid policy in general? Reports that he is desperate to get involved in front line politics again.
Forgive me if Iām wrong but wasnāt he the first one to suggest that we should only give people 1 shot of the vaccines to get more people done??
It is. For an amputee.
I believe he was yes, thatās what worries me a bit. If itās his idea and the government are running with it, I would be interested in seeing his epidemiology credentials, or indeed anything that makes him more qualified to give this advice than any random person on the street.
I didnāt hear that, but saw Blair on GMB last week where Moron was blowing smoke up his arse and TB didnāt seem to be too critical of the Government, so heās probably on the payroll alright.
I saw that - it is reportedly happening - reported by whom? Fiver says Blair has been briefing a friendly journo and in public saying, I couldnāt possibly say.
UK now over 2.4m jabs - no idea how many of those are second dose
Answer is 2m have had at least 1 jabs - 400k have had 2
Govt website still stuck on 1.2m as of yesterday.

Iām sure Boris will get it updatedā¦
The Times are reporting it, along with most other organs. Starmer also has said he has been consulting Tony Blair regarding the epidemic. Hancock was asked repeatedly about it on Sky this morning and wouldnāt deny it, just kept smiling. Mind you he also said Gavin Williamson is a ābrilliant education secretaryā! The Times and others have reported that he has been advising the government for a few months about the Covid response, thatās going well isnāt it! Perhaps this is the new Tony-Hancock show!
Iāll be the judge of that, if Lady Slowlane and I get notification of our jabs in the next week, it will be going swimmingly wellā¦if not a Telegram to our MP.
Hancock is somewhat snookered by the Blair thing. I have no doubt that they have spoken, probably straight after the one jab hypothesis cropped up.
So he canāt deny speaking to Blair and at the same time he canāt admit he spoke to him because irrespective of what was said, it will be portrayed as being briefed
I would put this firmly in the Tony āI want to be relevant againā Blair camp as opposed to Hancock asking for help
Oh dear, the Johnson strikes again. Just a day after the government tells the nation to follow the advice that when exercising you should āstay local in the village, town or part of the city where you liveā, he is spotted with his entourage cycling seven miles away from Downing Streetā¦
This is an interesting issue
I get not driving to a location to exercise, but on a bike that distance is nothing - a ride for me could easily be 50 km
I am wondering whether a better way to deal with this would have been to protect those patients by vaccinating their careers and relatives (in local centres etc) first⦠vaccinate those who NEED to be in contact with others, rather than those that dont?
Obviously they have prioritised those most at risk of hospitalisation and death, but I wonder what other strategies were considered or even evaluated before they begun the vaccination program? They had all summer and autumn to figure this our and run appropriate epidemiological models etc
I think the issue at hand is there is no proof that you cannot pass it on if you had had the vaccine
By the end of January, everyone in England will be within 10 miles of a vaccination site or, for a small number of highly rural areas, the vaccine will be brought to them via mobile teams, rapid plans to scale up the Covid-19 vaccine programme show.
There will also be capacity to deliver at least two million vaccinations in England per week by the end of January and all residents and staff in over 10,000 care homes across the country will be offered a vaccine by the end of the month, the Government has said.
