:covid_19: 😷 🏥 Corona Virus the thread for all your fears ❓

My local hospital is in this trust. :grimacing:

Not surprised given the comments from staff at the hospital when I’ve spoken to them.

Where did this 2m figure come from CBS?

Hancock said it earlier today…

reported here “the health secretary said that around two million people had been vaccinated in England, with some 200,000 jabs being given daily.”

BS…1.2m first jab 21k second jab currently doing 200k a day…as of yesterday. Courtesy Dr. John Campbell today.

Ah I see. Probably bollocks then.
Seems unlikely at best:

Rounded UP to the next million. :joy:

I wouldn’t trust Hancock to get his numbers right. The cunt counted one glove as an item of PPE.

Exactly

Official figures being released tomorrow

So I guess we will see

Hard to split a jab

And there you go. They’ve been ‘offered’ a vaccination. I expect many thousands of letters to be delivered towards the end of the summer offering vaccinations in Timbukfuckintoo.

Yes, Johnson has already changed his tune from, “fifteen million people in the UK will be vaccinated by the middle of February” to “fifteen million people will be offered a vaccination by mid February”. That took just a week from his first statement to the second one. He probably saw the projected figures and thought,“fuck me, how can i cover my arse here”. He’s done this from the word go of the pandemic, always promising fantastical world beating stuff that bears no relation to what eventually happens. The similarities with Trump are striking, they are two cheeks of the same arse, pathological liars, hopelessly out of their depth. We are so fucked!

My Dad had his 2nd jab a few days ago. Phoned to check - as it was 3 weeks after his first jab - and was told it was all going ahead because it was already booked in.

Pleased for him obviously. I resisted the temptation to say “Oi you selfish shit, thats another OAP who is missing out on a first jab”.

You do have to wonder if the “Kent Variant” started in France, but we were the ones to id it

Been saying that since I first heard about it in March.

Meanwhile I do wonder whether they think things through.
Today there are reports new lockdown rules mean you can only leave home once a week.
Yet still be forced to go to an office every day.

How the fvck do you enforce that?

Bugger.
