I could write forever on the latest news about what theyāre asking the elderly to do but fortunately Iām not elderly. OK I might be considered OLD but no way fuckinā ELDERLY and I will still be walking my dog through the woods and over fields twice daily. Iām in more danger getting Trench Foot and picking-up Covid-19 on my walk so they will continue.
Weāre no longer going to lunch with friends at the local pubs, which pains me as I hate to think of them failing as businesses. Our short break in The Cotswolds will have to be cancelled and our November Caribbean Cruise looks unlikely.
I also have to apologise to all you youngster as I now realise the overstressed NHS is all our fault. How unreasonable of us to present ourselves as elderly and frail in such large numbersā¦whoever thought that would happen despite the evidence presented to the Tory Government over the last 10 years.
So now the Tories are asking for our assistance in rebuilding the NHS from ground zero after paying our National Insurance contributions for 50+ years.

Itās not just that. Weāre going to see the impact of all kinds of decisions weāve taken. The only reason shutting schools down is such an issue is because of dual incomes and us getting used to that as the norm.

Dentists are top right but earn loads - nearly as far up and right are hospital orderlies that earn a fraction.

Need a 4 tooth bridge replacing urgently. Bad time for it tbh

Netherlands have announced school closure which means (I think) that along with Finland weāre the only European country to not close schools.
Edit: actually I think Finland might have closed schools as well. Not sure about Estonia
