I didnāt think it was possible but over the last 6 months That Man-Cock has really won me round to wanting Jeremy Hunt back.
Itās a choice between having cunt or a CUNT in charge I guess.
Heās confirmed that heās going to ask anyone that can possibly make ventilators to do so - engineering companies, motor manufacturers, etc.
Marr said that weād need 5 nurses per ventilator and additional doctors that take 5 and 8 years to train.
Hancock said we will have enough staff.
Heās lying and that makes me nervous.
His decision to not be honest so that he doesnāt a) get contradicted on pre-election comments and b) allow political points scoring is ill-judged.
He did deny that attaining herd immunity was government policy.
But given his response on nurses, I donāt believe him.

I have an issue with what they are doing
Now first, they might be right but then again they might be wrong - who knows only time will tell
But what I do know is that by publishing that open letter they do spread confusion and create an environment of anger and distrust that will serve no benefit to anyone
If they feel that strongly then maybe they should engage directly with the govt and if their arguments are strong, persuasive and evidenced then they are likely to be listened to

And I should say for clarity that the government MAY be only following medical/scientific advice, and that this advice MAY be the best advice for us and the fact that it differs from most countries MAY be because they have all got it wrong, but Iāve reached a different conclusion.
My interpretation of the combination of the facts (such that they have been shared with us) and the actions the government has taken (remember we didnāt see football yesterday because of the actions of a sports body - not government diktat) are that two infections in a year or a long drawn out crisis will be worse for GDP so herd immunity is their preferred approach.
Hence why tomorrow, I will be heading to the Isle of Wight (taking any infection I might have with me) to work in a school amongst children that are suspected to be an aggressive vector for the spread of the virus. I will then bring anything I have back to the mainland on Thursday evening and on Friday I will head to a mainland school again to facilitate the round-trip spread of anything nasty.
Schools are open because GDP would crash if parents stay home not because it will save lives.
Against that backdrop, if I were a scientist in possession of facts and experience Iād not be able to sleep at night unless I published my concerns.

I think you need to correct this a little . COVID-19 caused by Coronavirus is a VIRAL infection and is therefore like all viruses uneffected by any antibiotics. Antibiotics ONLY work against bacterial infection
The problem you are talking about is that in people who are old and frail or immunocompromised, any respiratory tract infection enables additional breakthrough infections such as those that cause various types of Pneumonia to occur.
Why do people say itās like Flu? Because The flu virus causes the same symptoms and also enables the same breakthrough infections in many old and frail people, many of whom do not respond to antibiotics either
The problem we have right now is that this Coronavirus seems to be spread much easier, despite not lasting long in the fresh airā¦ (they should be encouraging old folks to go out for walks and get fresh air, but avoid other contact, not lock themselves away ā¦ to be forgotten)
As a result the infection rate seems likely to be much higher than Flu and the symptoms worse for the older folks. The death rate however may still turn out to be no more than a bad flu yearā¦ we donāt know as we have no data on the number of folks who will be infected yet donāt develop symptoms beyond a mild coldā¦

Goat the problem is that itās only the ones actually in hospital that are in critical condition and there are many under 50 who have underlying conditions etc. Again we need to be careful and put in contextā¦ this is a Serious medical situation but it needs to be managed by expertise and calm professionalismā¦ but we seem to be living in a time of headline grabbing sensationalism and fearā¦

Our country has voted to run down services, to cut corners, to put cash before peopleās welfare, so today Matt Hancock is on TV begging anyone to build technical equipment that heāll buy at any price.
With our NHS so stretched, the government plan is for us to offer up the weakest to protect the herd.
Yeah, dwell on that thought for a moment, that is the fucking plan. 
If you look outside youāll see that a decade of austerity is at the front gate, itās tooled up, it has a warrant and itās about to knock the door off its fucking hinges and into the middle of next week.

Yeah, point being the %age developing Pneumonia is much higher than normal Flu & antibiotics are the usual treatment for that pneumonia and they dont work.
Patients need longer treatment.
Also, reports in Italy that the numbers of 40-50 year olds contracting complications is rising.
Indeedā¦ our inability to cope is a direct result of eroded services at the expense of the rich eliteā¦ and those same rich elite are simply now āwashing their handsā Saying there is nothing we can doā¦

There will be examples and percentages in All age groups and of course when you take data from hospitals this is likely to be much higher as they are only seeing the worst vases.
I am NOT dismissing the seriousness of this but we need to put this data into context before making alarmist claims about the epidemiology when we have no data on the total infection level (those infected yet never tested) -this will make the āserious and deathā percentages appear much higher, causing more panic and fearā¦ just what this government seems to be thriving onā¦ sort of dispicable cuntishness Cummings is only too happy withā¦

I will Say one more thing then shut up about itā¦ how often have we seen news headlines for 1 day or so that show hundreds of patients on makeshift hospitals or corridors being left as the healthcare systems have too little equipment, medicines or staff to cope? Frequentlyā¦ but they get 5 minutes attention as the patients are all in some 3rd world famine ridden poor country where we āacceptā this as part of lifeā¦ No fucking outrage over this, no 24 hour graphics charting the infection. Rate and death tollā¦ where is the BBC totaliser on number of children under 5 who have died each day this year but for the lack of clean water?
Itās why cunts who seem to think hoarding g toilet paper and food (whilst food bank donations plummet) should get a dose of fucking dysenteryā¦

Difficult to understand the details there.
Why arenāt they being paid? Is the āprivate sector partnerā that they work for not paying them as it should.
That video, in microcosm, is what the government is so afraid of. If companies collapse, wages arenāt paid or staples are in critically short supply then we will have riots.

The lack of basic safety gear for people scrubbing possible infected areas is also mentioned.
