These guys cant afford to go private nor can many smaller operators.

Exactly - how long does an international lorry driver spend in the UK?? A couple of days?
Even with the PCR they can come over contract it, driver to Dover, have the test and get a negative result and off to Europe they go with their payload
I would really recommend that everybody listens to this, and then downloads the app.
It takes about 20 seconds each day to log in and report on your situation - about 3 questions only unless you are feeling unwell.
I have been one of those providing data for months, and looking at grown up data with grown up analysis is very reassuring.

Theyāve done a much better job with their data than the government has done with its data.
The fundamentally bollocks thing about the governmentās position is that there is nowhere that is not risky. In reality, there are a fuckload of places that donāt have too much outside contact that could carry on 100% as normal supported by the proper measures.
The data from this app bears that out.
New strain was on the train long before Christmas was down the drain.
Hardly surprising as it was first identified in September. So other countries immediately isolate us 3 months later. 
Iād be interested to know what infections are like outside the South East. Itās a pretty dense place and the public transport is one hell of an incubator.
I had a covid alert message from Liverpool NHS yesterday telling me to shield where possible as covid cases have increased by 64% since Dec 2nd.

Mrs C_S and YoungAdult#1 have covid tests tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed itās only a cold and doesnāt turn into a not Merry Covid Xmas.
Took my mother for her first jab at Crosfield Hall this afternoon. No drama, all very efficient.
