You jammy git

Tell us what the world is like outside of this island

Probably and rightly so you are front line dealing with the vulnerable. Old friends (and I mean old- 90 and 88) are having their jabs on Wednesday at Crossfield Hall, Romsey.
Ladyslowlane is semi-vulnerable (MS) but has heard nothing yet but I suspect our’s will be early New Year.

My Dad had his yesterday at Totton AFC, Salisbury Road. Said it was very well organised and was back home 30 mins later

yep, that doesn’t seem very fair and right.

My partner’s brother’s father in law is having his (over 80s with some underlying issues) and that’s because they chased up the GP surgery. So maybe worth it. A friend who works in a surgery has suggested I ask if dad can have one before he is released from hospital.

50-50 chance as I’ve been taking part in a vaccine trial…

If the jab gave you an aching arm there’s a very good chance you had the vaccine. The Ache doesn’t actually come from the jab itself but the action of the vaccine producing an antibody response…the vaccine doing it’s job.

Indeed it did, I also had a slightly elevated temperature for a couple of days…but that could all have psychosomatic…

To be fair i think she spends most of her day sat in her office drinking coffee.

Your two responses mean you’ve had the vaccine. Did they tell you which vaccine e.g. Oxford/Astrazenica?

I kept meaning to sign up for being a guinea pig for that. Sounds like you did have it. Men always come first eh.

Funnily enough I did a silly online when are you likely to get a vaccine and it said between 22nd Dec and 18th Jan. I said that was quite optimistic. Turns out I was wrong.

Looks like London is getting Tier 4 - whatever that means

Baz will be on later complaining that it unfair that London got it first and that the North are always over looked by Westminster

Although it’s London and South East and if you look up South East region it goes from Hampshire to Kent including IOW.

Again leaks from the Cabinet, gauge public opinion before announcing it…
