What’s in the ā€œgarageā€ ?

My elderly mother got her appointments through today. Next week and then again in January, in Romsey.

Whilst there are a lot of people lining up to knock the vaccination process - it does feel that whoever is in charge of this part of the response is on point, from securing forward orders to getting it into people

Oh, you can safely assume that every stage of the process will be bitterly criticised by some group of mouthy cunts on social media, ā€œlives being destroyed by the utter incompetence of blah blahā€¦ā€ etc. And the mouthy cunts shouting the loudest will certainly be the least competent fuckers you can imagine themselves, who you wouldn’t put in charge of gluing the paper chains together. :rage:

That’s ok, I can always post the screenshots :+1::+1::smile::smile:

Three year of tuition fees and living expenses down the khazi and a £10k fine - that is going to make for a frosty xmas dinner at chez mum and dad

Plus, the parents will probably deduce the amount of time and effort their offspring has clearly been devoting to his studies.

Why does it take the NYT, (under a paywall), to investigate this scandal, are there any investigative journalists worthy of the name left in this country who aren’t in the pocket of the government?
Where is the outrage at this blatant, naked corrupt cronyism? The sums of public money involved are astronomical, tens of billions of pounds if the unfit for purpose test and trace contracts awarded are included.
The government appointed PPE tsar, former investment banker and Olympics tsar,(again appointed by Johnson), Lord Deighton, has financial interests or personal ties to at least seven companies awarded hundreds of millions of pounds in public contracts. These people looked on as this virus took hold and the first question they asked themselves is, ā€œHow can we make money out of thisā€. Once upon a time it would never have got this far, the general public wouldn’t have stood for it, heads would have rolled and corrupt public figures would have been hounded out. Now most people just seem to shrug their shoulders, wipe their mouth and carry on. It’s not the country I grew up in.

Well, this is depressing

I’m getting it tomorrow! There was spare capacity for social care staff in the borough (maybe due to the high rate they want some of us to not get it and leave more vulnerable people at risk). I didn’t think I’d get a space as didn’t call yesterday when I got the email.
I’m doing this because we have to stop this. My dad is now in hospital (not covid related) and the pressure on staff is too much if we keep going the way we are.

One of my friend’s adult son posted some rubbish about nurses fainting after having the vaccine. When I had the flu jab the other week they asked me to wait 10 minutes before leaving. I felt rough as when i had the yellow fever vaccine. So i don’t see this as any different. I did have a word.
