By the time your turn for the jab comes round a longer term efficacy of the vaccine will be more apparent. Itās not a single review into the safety of the vaccine but a continuous review so if any of the side effects prove to be serious approval can be withdrawn at any stage.
There are already several months of results from the pre-approval tests without any serious problems.
Wait and see for the vaccine, wait and see for the PS5, if you were a TNG character youād be Picard but the version that chose not to fight with the Nausicaan
āāYou have no guramba!āā
As Iāve said before, itās a question of risk vs reward. Iām not really at risk of this because I go nowhere, something that was generally the case before lockdown.
Letās see how the first round of vaccinations goes. I am keen to get around the world again, but weirdly enough, itās not really the UK I am arsed about. More all the foreign travel Iāve missed.
Was supposed to do another training sesh out in NC this year. Yeah, that never happened.
I was hoping for a more star trek type response, Iām very disappointed

Donāt cry for me, @scotty tina.
The truth is Iāve always been like this.
All through my childhood, I had good systems.
They called me geek.
They clean out cisterns.
The power of social mediaā¦
Time to turn the fucking internet off. Do these conspiracy, bible bashing fucktards not understand the damage they do? Utter cunts.
Ah, but you would say that. Thatās what they want you to think.
The conspiracy idiots will be taking this morningās news that two health workers have experienced side effects from the vaccine as vindication of their stance. The fact that both have a long history of multiple allergies and have to carry an adrenaline auto-injector pens will no doubt not appear in their current postings.
This is a story to assess with your head and not your gut.
No effective medicine is without side effects so you have to balance the risk and the benefit.
Remember, one in a thousand people in the UK have died after being infected with coronavirus this year and that figure is rising daily.
Two people, out of thousands immunised yesterday, had an allergic reaction which they recovered from.
Such reactions can happen with any vaccine and are treated with drugs such as steroids or adrenaline.
The trials reported one possible allergic reaction per thousand people immunised that may have been related to the jab.
The MHRA has given targeted advice to those most at risk, but for the overwhelming majority of people, this changes nothing.
These will very likely be people with a long history of allergic reactions to other things. There are some unlucky people who are almost untreatable because of their reactions to a wide range of medication.
First vaccines administered before first peer review?
If it goes well, Iāll probably partake when itās all been proven safe.
Letās fucking hope so, because some of the first people to get the vaccine are those that would be expected to look after people that might be affected if something goes wrong.
