Itās why the care homes and the oldies are being done first - they havenāt got that long left anyway if it all goes to tits
Iām moving my Mum into a care home next week as itās safer than finding her dead at the bottom of the stairs with a broken neck.
Letās hope the hypodermic / bullet doesnāt have her name on it
I would have the vaccine this minute if I could
Iām sure she will be fine
Itās fine, sheās got a DNR in place and the funeral plan is paid for

Ah, the heady scent of evening cynicism.
So the Canaries have hit the quarantine list and the people who have just gone there for a week of sun have just lost their shit as they have just realised that they will need to self isolate over xmas
Anyone who goes on holiday now is a fool and deserves everything they get.
Shhhhā¦donāt tell Phil that Ryanair have just announced resumption of the flights to Krakow from Bournemouth on the 17thā¦
So, the mass testing of āsuper spreaderā students prior to their return home has shown fuck all positive tests and proves that all the horseshit rhetoric about them being a āthreatā with them gallivanting around town infecting anyone within half a mile and consigning them to certain death was just that - a load of old horseshit.
Doesāt look like Granny is going to die after all.
Uhm⦠the testing has not been that comprehensive as it was not a requirement⦠Mrs Mot volunteered at the Uni where she works to carry out tests⦠of 7000 students, approx 280 took the test as a positive one would have mean no travel home for next weekā¦
Nipper is at Manchester. !0,000 tests in last week and 1 positive result. Portsmouth Uni - 4,500 test. 9 positive cases. Cambridge Uni 10,000 tests - 0 positive cases (tested last week). Southampton Uni has a comprehensive testing regime as they developed their own test - they test every student every week - donāt know the numbers, but very, very small number of positives.
Thing is, it does not need many positive cases if there is much travel⦠the second wave in scotland when looking at the strains suggested it came from only 40 odd individuals who had travelled abroad and into England
The reason why they are all negative now is that most of them probably caught it in freshers week
They have been herded
This, where I work, Bournemouth University, we have a cohort of ~20k Students, there were about 2k tests done. Like @Map-Of-Tasmania says they probably didnāt want to get tested for fear of a positive result.
Saying that our figures for last week were 17 confirmed cases from 8k staff and the studentsā¦
Not like you can do anything here, bars restaurants hotels all shut.
And I havenāt got anywhere to isolate fir however many days it takes in next weeks set of rules.
Bah humbug
Mine is in Cardiff, that hot bed of Covid.
He hasnāt tested positive nor anyone he knows.
Heās home tomorrow
That is tier 3 spec
Keep him in the shed for two weeks
Plug him into his PlayStation, throw in a fan heater and shove some food in every now and again and Iām sure he wonāt noticeā¦
