A second vaccine reports better than 90% efficacy in trial of 30k patients.
And this one does not have to be stored at -75C

Not sure how much of these articles the Karen’s will read, but very interesting to see there are huge differences in how different vaccines are targeted to work. Injecting modified Chimp DNA vs antibodies etc and also that different people & age groups may need different treatments.
All needing to be determined by a Doctor no doubt.
Logistical nightmare.

Don’t worry our Government has specialist experience in this field.

They’ve made a movie already, in cinemas next year, if’n we’re allowed to go…

The Oxford/Az vaccine is not modified Chimp DNA, it is a modifed virus that affects chimps. There are artificial antibodies around (such as those made by Regeneron that were used on Trump), but they are a treatment not a vaccine. The challenge for older people and those with compromised immune systems is whether these vaccines give them enough protection, so far it looks promising. No doubt we’ll see more data soon.

Quite good bit of German comedy ads for doing your bit against Corona

Quite like this one from Berlin (although since withdrawn) you can work it out!

Like a smarmy shit cunt eel.

I’ll not have that said about darling Susannah.

Otherwise, work away.

I did think you meant Morgan at first…

This promises to be enlightening, tonight at 9 pm, Channel 4. About time someone tackled the sheer incompetence, not to mention the naked corruption of this so called government. If we wait for Starmer to hold them to account we will be waiting a long time.

I guess this kinda makes sense, but the level adverse reactions seems to have been a little downplayed

Not sure which thread to do this on but here goes.

I’m a bit angry really that Johnson and 6 other MPs had a face to face meeting. I will probably have someone tell me off for saying something about Johnson (I know it’s hard for him isn’t it etc (absolute sarcasm there).
Why did they need to have a face to face meeting when we are all being told to work at home? I mean even Cummings didn’t need to be in the bloody office so he could stage manage out of it.
We have been told to work at home if we can. The whole of the government could do that. It’s is possible.Though old haunted pencil Rees Mogg of course said they couldn’t because they needed the jeering crowd for BJ.
I see police reports daily about kids having parties, people having arguments when they shouldn’t have been meeting up.

Why am I so angry?
My mum is currently in hospital alone. No visitors. I get it and respect it (quite frankly from the two times I did projects in hospitals I do wonder about all the randoms wandering around bringing bugs in or out). I wouldn’t have been there often put I could have gone and stopped some of the monotony.

But we didn’t need to be here did we? We could have tried a bit harder for others.
I have stuck steadfastly to the rules. I’ve had to go into work as required as a key worker (they’ve still not done that deep clean that was promised months ago).

We have a government who really do not provide good role models unless we want to give contracts to out mates. Then we will be fine.

P.S it’s not Covid-19 but some weird thing which needs an operation. Hopefully it will go ok.

I dont believe giving your post a like comes close.
So here is
In every EU country, the elite have told us to do the needful, then just carried on. It is heartbreaking and I feel your pain.
Like you, it fills me with despair.
If it wasnt equally corrupt it would drive me to hope there is a place in hell for all of them.

You aren’t alone in wondering. This was high on the sicki front page the day Cummings got booted…

It is so darned frustrating when you follow the rules for the good of all and see others ignoring them, particularly those in government. Hope all goes well for Mum and she is home quickly

I am absolutely with you on the frustrated side of things and I think I have said so before.

I read something in the paper today that only 18% of people that were asked to self isolate by track and trace actually did…18%!!!

I understand that people have to earn money and the support systems should be in place to help those that do need to self-isolate but still 18%…

Best wishes to your mum as well…
