Obviously being bored out of my brain due to inactivity in the Tour Business, I welcome Covid Passports & vaccinations.
I am also, worryingly, old enough to worry that longer term testing is really important in case of long term side effects.
The horrors of the Thalidomide era will never be forgotten by my generation, and that wonder drug had far longer testing. One, two, three years down the line we could (very small could) give ourselves bigger problems than just Bill & Melisa’s chips.
Dilemma.
But yes, I would Vaxx at the 1st opportunity
I think mass vaccinations will be unlikely before the spring.
Here we will be getting the 'Oxford" vaccine and it will be NHS staff getting it first.
10% experience flu like symptoms necessitating 1-2 days off of work.
How is that going to be possible in hospitals already short of staff?
That’s before we get into the logistics of actually administering the vaccine.

Science has moved on by an enormous amount since the Thalidomide era.

I am not concerned by the possibly of longer term effects. This is an area in which I have specialist knowledge.
