:covid_19: 😷 🏥 Corona Virus the thread for all your fears ❓

Her position as an MP is utterly untenable. The SNP have withdrawn the whip and her only potential defence is that she’s a good person.

Good luck with that one then.

So the locals and I look like we’re heading for the tightest restrictions in the land. Pubs, bookies and casinos to shut.

The youngest’s boyf is a bit miffed. He works in a pub, but it offers “substantive food”, which means he’s going to be moaning at people getting pissed up while nursing a six hour old shepherd’s pie.

Just saying…

Can you imagine the reaction if that happened in the UK…

To be fair, the Polish have a bit more experience living under authoritarian regimes.

Pretty much all of its history as a modern country, as it goes.

Even if we did and there was only one person in the country who was pissed off about it, the headlines would read “Fury at police heavy-handedness” with a three page article about John from Cleethorpes who cant go down the bookies

So. Today.
TWO mates have had their Daughters sent back home - 1 from 6th Form in UK 1 from Uni here. Both tested positive.
Which means they are now fooked for 10 days at least.

But it is all a hoax cry so many on my FB feed.

6th former is “really not well as in having bad Flu not well, not Hospitalisation”

Where’s @Barry-Sanchez tonight?

I am surprised that he’s not on this thread calling you all a bunch of Tier 1 losers.

We’re Tier 3 in Liverpool, init

Looking on the map here, you’ll be fine once you get there. Getting there? Well…

I trust Johnson and his “team” less and less as time goes by. I get the feeling of a PM with no grasp of running the UK, with advisors looking to the main chance to rake in even more cash from “initiatives”…I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt for the moment

Good stuff - today headlines will scream that we didn’t lock down soon enough after weeks of these lockdowns go too far

Not surprised he looks knackered - trying to corral the northern mayors must be like trying to herd cats

Quite liked this comment on one of the lockdown articles

“Can we please get some consistency in what we’re criticising the government for? I can’t work out if they’re at fault when they act too quickly, not quickly enough; when they hurt regions through lockdown or not locking them down.”
