Fucking hell, Has Barry been on eBay again?
From whom?
You handlers?
Says it all really.
âPeople are just doing what they want, theyâre fed up with the changes all the time,â one person told me. âI donât know anyone whoâs given it the slightest bit of notice,â said another. The government is asking people to sacrifice things that they really care about while actively encouraging them to do things they donât really care about. It is doing so in a cavalier and disrespectful way that doesnât even try to empathise with how difficult these sacrifices might be. Meanwhile, its defence of Dominic Cummings is etched in peopleâs memories: breaking the rules for the sake of your family is not only fine, itâs what any good person would do. It doesnât take a PhD in psychology to work out that this is not a winning combination.
Sums it up reallyâŠ
Iâve, stupidly, been reading a few threads on twitter and the amount of people on there that say that, in the event of another national lockdown, theyâll do what the hell they like anyway worries meâŠ
I know the conspiracy theorists say this is all a worldwide government conspiracy to âreset the worldâ and have us all controlled by one big central government but, personally, I think there are too many disparate ideologies in the world Governments for that to occur.
Yes the figures (deaths and infection rates) donât seem massive but is the because of the lockdowns or is it because all the people that were going to get it have got it and died from it? If we come out of lockdown and back to normal will it all go through the roof again.
Our ineffective and meandering Government does not help.
Isnât your point predicated on power being held by the worldâs governments?
Look not to the leader that can be voted out every five years. Look at the people who canât, who persist. Thatâs basically elites vs plebs.
Interesting to see the priorities of this shit show of a government. They really are mocking us.
The Cabinet Officeâs special Covid-19 Operations ministerial committee - chaired by Michael Gove, scheduled a meeting on Saturday, with one agenda item titled: âExemption: Hunting and shooting.â
Grouse shooting and hunting are now exempt from Johnsonâs ârule of sixâ.
Unbelievable that there are still people in this country who continue to support the lying, immoral criminal piece of shit masquerading as Prime Minister.
Jeez, wasnât that what the East German Stasi encouraged people to do?
Thin end of the wedge?
Well well.
Thats interesting
Do you still believe that Nottarf?
Do i still believe what?
Meaning what, that is bang on the money.
Errrm⊠read your post Baz. Wrong in so many ways

I, personally, think we still donât know enough about the virus to be able to make any (fullly) informed decisionsâŠ
Equally, because it has been âpoliticisedâ facts are swamped by opinions.
And algorithms determine what âknowledgeâ people see on their feeds.
The wife of a friend is close to being blocked by me on SM as she simply boards everyone with âyou must watch thisâ shit.
I read, I take action to protect me & the family, we know how many in the village have been taken Ill, and if a mask reduces risk by 5% I will take that 5%.
It is a clusterfvck each country and then cities & villages hold their own influences opinions.
Absolutely. We are definitely in for the long haul when it comes to working out which approach is the best one for us. I suspect a lot will depend on the physical condition of each countryâs population, Swedenâs healthcare system put them in an ideal position to attempt the approach that they have. That doesnât mean it would work here.
Itâs a good point @scotty but it also comes down to how good people in various countries are at following the rules. At the start of lockdown there was an article about âhow come Sweden isnât in full lock down but C19 is under controlâ ⊠the answer was âthe Government told us to wear masks, keep away from each other and wash our hands and we doâ.
In the UK, we have a society which is hell bent on finding ways round the rules rather than using a bit of common sense. People are the problem.
