My step aunt in France is in a care home and theyāve banned visitors, none of this wanking soul searching, banned, its good decisive action. Weāre doing nothing and weāre going to get steamrollered.

The point being, that most care homes and hospitals have measures in place to reduce contact infectionā¦ its part of normal day-to-day routine. Of course individuals often dont give a shit, but each establishment can take measures to restrict, limit or ban visitors as it pleases, they dont need to wait nor should they for 'Government action.
All Government āactionā does is create a sense of panic. It should not be Government that bans festivals or sports events, it should be the organisers on taking sensible advice. This is serious, but nothing is helped by the ignorant shouting for Government to be more draconian ā¦ it just feeds others to go buy buy more toilet paper and interrupt a supply chain that can easily cope even if they need to reduce capacity by 20% as workers stay homeā¦
I would add that this is about INDIVIDUALS doing what is right and taking some fucking repsonsibilty. I dont need a fucking clueless bunch of cunts in Government to tell me not to do certain things that increase the risks for the elderly and vulnerable. But I am not allowed to insult that great British person, who has all the necessary intelligence to digest complex information and make the right decisionsā¦ that would be arrogant would it not? So we dont need Government, we will all do the right thing
