:covid_19: đŸ˜· đŸ„ Corona Virus the thread for all your fears ❓

Is the answer that you’re not a eugenicist whose evil plans are key to this government being able to turn the poor and less able into fuel and food for the fit and wealthy?

You don’t know that for a fact. Unless sources close to Tigger are informing you?

Meanwhile.
Here in Poland numbers affected have been low, yet at 1st glance the curve stays stubbornly flat, infection rates are not dropping.
Some commentators claim that shows we aren’t getting herd immunity (strangely mainly the " Right leaning" ones.
The reality appears to be a mix.
Care Home numbers are stubbornly high despite more effort/tesources/PPE, but the biggest snafu appears to be Lower Silesia - the State next door (west) of us.
It seems someone forgot to mention that listing Coal Mining as a Key Industry might have been unwise. Coronavirus has ripped through the Mines & Mining villages and, as restrictions ease everywhere it is getting a foothold again.
Lower Silesia has well over 4x the # that we have in Malopolska. In our "north, west & south suburbs of Krakow weve only had 69 cases, lowest in the region per head.

Poland will start up Domestic flights about 6th June, with POSSIBLE opening of SOME International routes a week later.
But, like many EU Countries it is VERY unlikely they will allow flights to/from UKsimply because of the sheer # of cases.
While Ryanair are all systems go from July 1st & Karen from Facebook is getting ready for Ibiza, she may not actually be welcome yet.

This is an interesting defence of the kuenssberg approach.

Same here.

I couldn’t stretch to the beach hut in Mudeford. :frowning:

Ever get that feeling that he just doesn’t give a fuck what anyone thinks of him.

Mr Cummings told reporters he “behaved reasonably and legally” when asked about the trip from London to Durham.

Asked whether it looked good, he said: “Who cares about good looks? It’s a question of doing the right thing. It’s not about what you guys think.”

I’m not saying we’re stuck with the coronavirus.

But I just checked the weather forecast, and next to the pollen count there’s now a Covid outlook.

Woke up this morning and Stephen Kinnock was trending on Twitter. Those with more cynical minds suspect this is a coordinated pile-on job to deflect attention from Wanderin’ Dom “Sick Boy” Cummings.

Kinnock Jr has been less odious lately, but even so, one of my favourite comments was:-

Personally, I don’t mind if the Tories sack Dominic Cummings and Stephen Kinnock

Cummings is a useful lightning rod. The media and the left will spend the next week frothing about this story to the detriment of everything else.
