Once in a very long while, I look at a twitter thread. This usually happens about six or eight months after the last one I looked at, and invariably only serves to remind me of why I donāt bother.
There is so much risible bullshit spouted on that one, starting squarely with the OP. This response was one of the few sensible ones;
If this is true then said doctor should speak publicly to the press/TV not hide behind the anonymity of twitter with the inherent bluster that follows this type of tweet. I have no political agenda I just want to see a real face tell me the truth. That isolated piece of commonsense hadnāt been appreciated by anyone. The rest is mainly sensationalist witch-hunt nonsense straight out of the āstring-em-upā school, with exaggerations and distortions so ludicrous as to be unwittingly amusing. And the more extreme the crap spouted, the more ālikesā of approval they garner, which is presumably the object of the exercise. I honestly cannot understand why anyone bothers with this platform, itās like Buzzfeed for social media but minus the intelligence and comparatively searing insight.
For fucksake.
