There are already reports of other care homes within the city facing similar problems.
I’d be unsurprised if this was happening all over the country.
Whitty reiterates that it was not him who told the prime minister to go to hospital. Asked if Johnson could have pneumonia, he adds: “This is a question for him and his medical advisers, who are outstanding.
“I am absolutely not going to discuss any individual patient and I do not have the full details, nor should I.”
If he’s in hospital, as I said last night, he is clearly in a far worse state than stated by the media. The long term symptoms also point towards pneumonia.
Police are apparently reporting a rise in suicides and suicide attempts. Could these be lockdown-related deaths, either from the isolation or financial ruin that is meeting many.
Liverpool have changed their mind about furloughing their staff.

Could certainly be additional factors for people already struggling. I think this will be a very serious issue in the US.
It’s already well known that economic struggles and uncertainty results in a rise in suicides.

Scary times. If the worst happens to the Prime Minister, there will be huge panic. This is theoretically the person that should have the best healthcare available.

So about 10 days ago news release here. Patient Zero had recovered. All clear.

Meanwhile somebody, somewhere, who advised and let him make those statements about shaking hands with Covid patients and sold him herd immunity should be charged with attempted murder or at the very least named so they never work again.
