My folks had the same thing. They are waiting until there is a more local option available.
Bless the old boy. He gave the country a huge lift when we needed it and was a reminder of a generation that didn’t just take what was thrown at it but turned a negative into a positive. It would be a sad irony if he succumbs to Covid given his efforts to fight the virus. Hang in there Tom!

when we do get round to shipping it to the EU we should ensure that it goes via lorry as part of a multi consignment with other product, such as fish.

I got stopped from taking a banana into Australia. I also had to change my shoes as the shoes I had on had mud on them (this was at the height of foot and mouth though)
Yep stopped on the Arizona/New Mexico border when travelling on a Grayhound Bus.
Uniformed Police type guy got on, walked the length of the bus scanning each passenger went back to the front and said, “Any fruit or vegetables to declare?” Not sure whether that included sandwiches.
You do get more right wing as you get older apparently…

The EU president is wriggling like a worm on a hook. She has chucked her deputy under the bus for the NI debacle, refused to allow a debate in the parliament and is facing a call from German MPs to come and face them to explain what she is playing at
Meanwhile after spouting off about the AZ vaccine being crap, the Germans are considering using the Russian and Chinese ones.
